Endgame 9.5/10

I would agree with that [no - nothing in the credits].

And I don't generally care much for superhero flicks.  But this is an otherwise very good movie.  It actually manages to elevate the first one even more, which is something exceptionally rare for a sequel.  The two films together truly are a masterpiece.

A minor quibble with the ending sequence that probably didn't register for anyone else.  And I could start a whole other thread on Captain Marvel.  The first film was excellent - I thought this one was much better.

Saw Avengers:Endgame last night. If you are even remotely a fan of super hero movies you will love this one.

If you are a huge MCU nerd this will be the movie highlight of your life.

They did that good a job of tying in all 22 movies and storylines into a true “finale”.

It was epic in scope and needed to be 3+ hours.

The final battle, without giving up any spoilers, holy freaking crap...

9.7/10. Only a couple movies ever I put higher than this one in my favorites.

May start a spoiler thread...

Endgame, 7/10 - Loved a lot of it, have serious problems about 1 character's end that makes no sense to me. Up to that point, 10/10

Bring it to the spoiler thread. I think I know who you are talking about but want to make sure.

Overseas...

Endgame: 9/10. Basically what if you combined the show the Leftovers with a superhero film? I enjoyed it even though some parts were kind of hard to follow.

Watching Tombstone on AMC..Freaking AMC of all channels. Waching it Twice. I say Fuck all the new Cartoon Movies that are big...I guess I'm just getting old. I'd rather watch old Gunsmoke stuff than to pay for new cartoon stuff. (Bellly)

Saw Captain Marvel and Endgame in the last few days.

Captain Marvel was great. The villain was a little light, but I get it.  It's an origin story. - 8.5/10

I actually didn't like Endgame as well as a lot of people seem to have.  I mean, it checks a lot of the right boxes, but much of it felt like it fit together too neatly.  Not to mention characters who felt a little underrepresented, given their importance.  More than a "great" movie, I'd call it a good movie that is indulgently entertaining.  Under those circumstances, though, I'd still watch it again.  It's got staying power within the MCU timeline, to be sure. - 7/10

Now Blazing Saddles is on at AMC. Might have to watch it even though I got it on DVD. One of the best movies ever.

watched "The Show Must Go On: The Queen and Adam Lambert Story" the other night, and found something out I did not know--that Lambert had a cameo in Bohemian Rhapsody as the trucker Rami Malek was checking out at the truck stop:

Aladdin. 6/10 - felt like a play more than a movie. Jasmine was an absolute smokeshow.

The Sun is Also a Star-Total chick flick, but even as a guy it wasn’t terrible. Not as sappy as The Notebook or other crap like that.

5/10

Us-finally got around to seeing this “horror” film. Not scary, not good, VERY predictable (leaned over to the wife 15 min in and got the ending right that early. Really was a boring movie. So disappointed after “Get Out” (same director) was so good.

2/10
