I went to a George Strait country music fest back at the 'Shoe in the late 90s or early 00s, which was cool at the time. I went to a Bunbury in Cincinnati about 5 years ago and saw Old Crow and The Avett Brothers. It was cool

The one lead singer broke into a Bruno Mars song and nailed it 100%....so talented.

Speaking of doing other people's songs, I took my girlfriend to see Chris Daughtry at the Rocksino in Cleveland and was stunned how great he was singing Prince's "Purple Rain."

Some of those AI contestants and winners were really talented

Doobies opened for Frampton.

I am a huge Journey fan and the Doobies were just as good live.

No doubt. He put on a helluva show even though that's not my genre. My girlfriend banned AI when he got eliminated early. She's still salty...lol. I think the band Fuel offered him to be their new lead singer before he was eliminated and he declined.

Would’ve liked to have seen Cheap Trick in their time

I was at this show - was thinking about it even before I saw your post.  Excellent.  I took some decent pics from the balcony of all three bands, but I'm not sure where my photo album is.   Also:

1976, Hara Arena in Dayton - Artful Dodger, Bob Seger, and KISS.  Bob Seger??  Man, with KISS, it was like getting two headliners.

1998, Polaris Ampitheater, Columbus - Warrant, Ted Nugent, and KISS.  Peter Criss struggled to keep up, but it was great to see the original lineup back together.   Ted had Tommy Aldridge playing drums, that was a showstopper right there.  And I wasn't familiar with Warrant, but they were surprisingly good.

Saw them twice.  They were fun and good.  You couldn't help but like them.

Saw the Roots at Radio City Music Hall in January 2002. Jay-Z came on as a surprise guest, which was pretty awesome and unexpected. NYC was a different place at that time.
