Have you ever done a food challenge? Any good challenges in your area?

I've been watching a lot of BeardMeatsFood on youtube lately and now I'm interested in tackling a food challenge. I've only ever chugged syrup so this would be a new experience for me.

Once ate a 72 ounce steak with sides. The hardest part was my jaw muscles hurting towards the end.

Took down two boxes of thin mints during a 5-10 shift at McDonalds….ate 80 cookies and kept all my duties. Had great breath.

Won an ice cream eating contest once. 86 ounces in 10 minutes, vomit within 15 minutes = disqualification. Both other guys who hit 60 ounces threw up.

Ate a hot burger at some restaurant in Louisville once. I can no longer remember the spot but I got a free meal and a t-shirt, which meant a lot as a college kid.

I tried the big burger challeneg or whatever it’s called at Uncle Bubs in Indianapolis years ago. It was 2lb burger, weight POST cooking.

No, it was at Texas Roadhouse. I don't think they have the challenge anymore.

Gotcha. Reminded me of the Big Texan (if you are ever in Amarillo, go). Someone was trying it 2 tables over and it looked impossible. Sides have to be eaten also lol.

When I was a (fat) kid, we owned a grocery store in the town I lived in. When I'd walk to the store after school, I'd get in the mood for a particular candy. One week it could be Snickers, 3 Musketeers, etc. One day I wiped out a case (36 packs x 2= 72) of Reese's Cups before I went home for dinner and polished off a pot roast.

Most I've ever eaten (drunk) was three 18 oz steaks at a strip club at 1am in the morning.

Not exactly food challenges but those are my stories.

During summers in college I worked for county highway dept. one Friday I brought a dozen donut holes and ate most of them at break and shared a few with the 2 bridge crew guys. They loved them and asked if I’d bring them the next Friday. So the next Friday I brought 3 dozen and at break time I broke them out and the 2 other guys said they had sausage sandwiches and were full 🤦🏻‍♂️. So I hate 36 donut holes, chased it with a Pepsi and then it got up to 90 degrees and I swelled up like a big toad.

Before Quaker Steak and Lube expanded out from its original location in Sharon PA they had a "challenge" if you ate a whole order of their atomic wings (full order of them was 4 rather than 6) you'd get your name up on the wall.

I did it on a $20 bet way back in college.

I love hot food and will normally order the 2nd or 3rd hottest wings based on which ones have the best flavor.

Those are the only wings I have ever ate that made my butthole burn the next day when they came out.

I’ve had the atomic wings too, not sure I ate all 4. Got a bumper sticker. Was not enjoyable. I think they may have an even hotter one now.

Y’all are nuts. I go medium and regret it the next day!

Only set of wings I ever ate that burned the whole way through. Mouth to stomach to asshole all on fire as they passed through said body part.

Definitely not enjoyable and I eat mango habanero at BWs, Suicides/Buckeye BBQ/Supercharged (they have changed names of their 2nd hottest a few times) at QS&L, etc.

All those are hot but taste good.  The atomic just hurt, period.

Whenever we are in a wing place that has an atomic wing challenge my cousin tries it. He is mostly successful. Failed a few times on the 2 minute timed ones.

I love spicy food (chili, Thai food, etc) but I draw the line where it hurts coming out the next day.
