Has there been any significant progress made? I feel like I haven't heard anything about vaccines in months. Is there any type of testing readily available that doesn't require driving up somewhere and having a swab up your nose only to get the results days later?

All I saw recently was Johnson and Johnson halted theirs temporarily today due to an unexplained illness

Well people like you claimed it went away now it’s the highest totals since inception.

Are we still pretending that positives now are the same as the positives when this all started? I knew being fixated on positives back in March would create fear porn for months/years. Most of these cases are asymptomatic  or mild. Imagine how many people have/had and don’t/didn’t even know.

If anything, we all should be happy all of these asymptomatic/mild cases are being caught and those people are being isolated.

So I went off the big boy jump at ricks https://www.facebook.com/506073963/posts/10158435611693964/?extid=0&d=n

I'd have a blast with that! Do they let people dive, also, or just jump?

Ohio doesn’t test asymptomatic people though ? These are people who are sick.

And if you look at hospitalizations chart it’s followed a half sine and is trending back up again.

And for some context, I went to my doctors Friday bc I’ve had nasal congestion for about a week that makes it impossible to breath through your nose and sleep, and i have a low grade fever. My doctor said since I didn’t have any trouble breathing I didn’t need a test. So they’re only testing people with certain symptoms too and not mild ones.

If you want a test in Ohio, you can get a test. For free. All over the place.

Interesting... Friday my doctor explicitly said he’d need to write an order to the hospital by us that does the testing but he wasn’t going to since he doesn’t think I have it.

Are those like 1 day testing locations that move around the state?

The locals were doing tricks.. they didn’t say too much before we jumped so I guess it was so whatever u want.

As far as testing goes what a shit show for 20 people. Several people got false positive tests including my fiancé. She got tested 4 times and had 1 positive result in the middle. Others did too

Kizer, I think the low grade fever could have earned you a test but who knows. You probably don’t have it, but if you’re willing to go get the test then what else is stopping him from ordering it. Regardless, your symptoms right now don’t warrant anything other going home and chilling alone anyways.

The big thing anymore is exposure. If you’re doing the same thing now you’ve been doing for the last seven months and being safe, Covid can probably be ruled out. If you went to a wedding or something or you were around your brother who tested positive, then that’s a different story.

Yeah he says it’s just allergies. I’ve never had allergies but that doesn’t mean it can’t be it. And I’m not a doctor but I don’t think it usually comes with a fever. To him 99.5 wasn’t a fever so he didn’t want to order a test.

I teach labs at college and have been around college kids. We all have masks on but that was the only thing different than earlier this year. I don’t feel bad other than the annoyance of sinus pain and not being able to breath out of my nose.

You can get tested at a Rite Aid drive thru. Just go on their website to schedule. Results usually take 2-3 days.

Well apparently the physician network at rite aid doesn’t think I need one either lol

Oh well ... guess I’ll have to go to the state sites Justin referenced if I want one.

Weird. I know 5 or 6 people who have been tested there, some multiple times, and no one was ever rejected.

Only thing I think I should have said was I had a fever. I marked no since my doctor said 99.5 wasn’t a fever.
