Will an uprising happen or not?

What will be the extent of such backlash?

Are you prepared for any type of civil unrest and conflict?

I think it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

This.  There will be civil unrest in all the usual areas like Baltimore and SW Chicago.  But that is par for the course there

No. Because 90% of the country seems to finally be on board and understands the severity of the situation. If they did this a week ago, my answer may be different, since half the population was still in denial.

Fauci was on, or maybe it was yesterday, and did say he favored as much as they could do....and that it [quarantine] was discussed.  The common refrain emerging is "we'd rather end-up guilty of a gross over reaction".

And I'm sure many other options have been considered.  I've seen ideas floated about retirees self-quarantining for several months since they are by far the most at risk.  But the problem remains estimates are as many as 15% will need hospitalization, and that would overwhelm the hospitals.  Even 5% would overwhelm the hospitals.

I agree, especially if the media curtails their panic promotion.

The type of media you don't like is like porn.  It's always going to be there as long as people consume it.  Hoping the type of media outlets you don't like will change is like hoping pornhub starts showing Hallmark movies.

Sounds like National Guard and/or Reserves are being activated.
