Kentucky or Canadian?

Not sure, does it say specifically on the bottle? I'd guess Kentucky.

What did the bottle look like? I'd bet it wasn't even the KBS or CBS version just the regular breakfast stout that is available year round.

Kinda funny since I think the KBS 2018 release is coming up in the next week or 2.

I'll be in Asheville next week, our airbnb is a 5 minute walk from just about every brewery in town. Looking forward to very little sobriety while we're there.

Wicked Weed (even though they sold out) had really good taproom only beers when we went. They had an IPA series where each only used one hop, so you could really see what each hop tasted like since it was by itself.

Nice. I brewed a SMASH ale last weekend, it's fermenting nicely. I used a german pale ale malt and Amarillo hops.

I think he's referring to Regs.

Ah, the kid eating cereal on the bottle?  Step up your game.  KBS is top 20 BOAT, CBS is top 3.

That bottle might have 8 to 10 years of age on it Justin. I remember that was as rare years ago in 2005 that Kentucky Breakfast Stout is now. I still have some KBS from 2012/2013. I'll hit you up with some if we ever meet again.

I've had CBS. It's great, but I've had a better beer that was made from Listerman's here in Cincinnati. Freedom Toast !!! Had it at a barrel age event at Jungle Jim's...Incredible you are missing out if you don't go there. It's mid January every year.

Oh I do have my Jungle Jim's BeerFest tickets for Father's Day weekend. Both nights. Been there every BeerFest since 2005. Even when they expanded to 2 nights.

We should meet up for a beer sometime soon. I knew the beer had some age to it, I think I had it for 5 years. I still have a few more, I'll share how they aged as I drink them.

Wife and I are in Lexington today. We've visited West 6th, Blue Stallion, and are currently at Ethereal Brewing.

I bought a bottle at West 6th, it's a barrel aged red ale, to take home and age a little more. Talked to one of their brewers and he said it should age well.

We went to Wolf's Ridge, Elevator, Barley's Brewing Company, Hoof Hearted and Seventh Son while in Columbus on Saturday. An all-around great day.
