At this rate, maybe someone will get convicted within 10 years.  It's bad, but I still haven't seen much rising above well-intentioned abuse of power, along with simple incompetence.

Comey makes Trump look like a brilliant leader.  What an absolute disaster Comey was.  With everything coming out about the Russia investigation, it's easy to forget he badly mishandled the Clinton investigation.

Unfortunately, incompetence isn't a felony.  Comey had no control and no oversight over the DOJ.  That would be astounding if true - you don't delegate the investigation of a POTUS.  You delegate other responsibilities so you know everything going on with biggest story since Watergate.

He didnt "mishandle" the Clinton investigation.  He made a minimal effort for appearance to act like they looked into it.

"You havent seen much above well intestioned abuse of  power"????????  THats a huge felony.  One of the documents they dumped actually said "Lets get Flynn to lie so we can get him".  

Their own hand-written notes planning to frame an innocent American.  The criminality by the FBI and the DoJ is shocking.  Mr. Flynn will be exonerated and I hope he sues these agencies and is awarded at least $100 million, and then all those involved in this incredible coup attempt are imprisoned for life.

Being critical of someone who just repeats the same talking point Trump and Sean Hannity were responsible for authoring does not mean I can't look at it objectively.  Rational discussion ends when people start talking about "attempted coups".

Looking forward to the day when the manufactured dossier full of falsehoods is revealed to have been used by the FBI as the basis for a FISA warrant, and ultimately a special counsel...............and the shit starts rolling downhill, exposing the felonious plot and the ensuing cover-up.  Makes Watergate look like shoplifting a pair of underwear from Wal-Mart.  Had Clinton won, we would never know of this corruption.

LOL.  Someone else on Fox pointed out this isn't actually a crime.  Cops lie all the time to get people to incriminate themselves.  What you're thinking of is entrapment, and this is not entrapment.

I am going to disagree with you on this.  We dont know what questions they asked him.  As for the outcome of the trial......its gonna get reversed or thrown out with these new revelations.

Questions are not entrapment.  He's there voluntarily, without a lawyer (also his choice), and no one is pressuring him to answer a question or how to answer the question.  Entrapment is inducing someone to commit a crime.  Like I said, cops question people for hours and hours and can even lie...perfectly legal.

It's potentially an abuse of power, which as you should know from impeachment proceedings isn't normally a crime.  Violating departmental procedures & guidelines would be considered an abuse of power, but not a crime unless a specific law is broken.  Trump had the power to do what he pulled with Biden and Ukraine, so it was not illegal but he crossed a line that was considered an abuse of his lawful power.

I know it's easy to mock Quaker (especially in this thread), but what they did to Flynn is pretty fucked up.  I am not sure how anyone can defend it or be ok with it.  If they can do this to people like Flynn, what makes you think they can't do it to you?

And likely all of them then lied about their actions and motives in congressional hearings thinking these documents would never come out.  That is a crime.  THey should all be locked up.
