Fuck.  I’m currently riding the NE Flyer from Boston to Providence with a friend of mine who happens to be an Apple IIE.   The conductor just stepped in the car and yelled “Portal Bridge”.  I’m screwed.  My computer buddy just said “I knew it”.

There are multiple industries wherein 30% of the workforce will walk out.  If you think we have an economic supply problem now, you won't like what's coming.  Pressure is building everywhere to at least delay this disastrous mandate until next year, and hopefully the entire thing gets whacked in the courts at some point.

Garland is one of the worst congressional testifiers I've seen.  Looks unprepared, and struggling to re-write narratives.

Have to admit, I thought he was a decent "moderate" nomination for SCOTUS, but now I'm glad Mitch blocked him.

Also, the people Biden has appointed and what they're doing seriously calls into question how much moderate Biden is running things, unless he's only a "moderate" in the same sense as Ptown.

He writes a "you know what to do" memo then remains willfully ignorant of any actions taken.  He knows exactly what he is doing.  He gets plausible deniability at the cost of feigning incompetence and the mission still gets accomplished.

It's hard to tell sometimes with all the grandstanding, but Cruz (whom I usually detest) just eviscerated him.  Could have been charged with a hate crime on seniors.

But it's telling the Dems, like Hirono (also detestable), deflected to "changes in election laws STEALING votes from people".  OK, so back to it's OK to talk about stolen votes so long as it's a Democrat?

And then Corey Booker tried a strange backdoor play envoking the Parkland Shooting....to somehow justify investigating angry parents?!?

It is interesting that when the crazies finally started making some actual headway with their nutjob fantasies, the Dem response was to target people who were exposing this stuff.

In other words, "we can't control our own wackos, but we might be able to keep our jobs a bit longer if we squash all news and objections."

Quite true it is all a show.  The props held up behind them are cringeworthy.  I don't need a fucking prop to discern the situation.  Call up the underlings carrying the water.

Joe Biden further proves Americans will vote whoever they're told to. No one liked him in the primaries until he wasn't winning and CNN and MSNBC panicked and started pushing him nonstop. Once he took full steam ahead, there was no stopping him. It was odd seeing democrats make fun of him early in primaries, to sucking him off after he started winning after SC. Only a matter of months.

Same was true of Trump in 16 primaries. People laughed at the shit he said... then when they realized he was popular among a certain base... full steam ahead, let's get behind this guy.

You'll never be POTUS unless you become a chosen one.

It's no longer about right and wrong, it's about winning.  Trump will very likely get the nomination in 2024, not because he's the best candidate but because voters think he can win.

Same reason Biden got the nomination - because they thought he was the only guy that could beat Trump.  And they might have been right.  Shame, shame on the people of Georgia for giving control of the Senate to the Dems (I also blame Trump for that).

Mentioned it before, but wondering how this "international minimum corporate tax" is constitutional.

Also not really seeing the wisdom raising the corporate rates back to 26-28% if the international minimum is 15%.

I just cant tell you how many friends I have that hated Biden. Wanted Bernie, wanted Yang, wanted Klobuchar... made fun of Biden like the right is doing now... but as he started looking like he'd win the nomination.... they acted like they were all in from the get go.

Same with my in laws for Trump... Liked Rubio, liked Kasich... hated Trump. soon as it was apparent Trump was gonna win... they became hardcore Trumpers lol

Biden's new $1.75T plan.....$550B+ on climate change, but not one penny for nuclear.

I really hope someone is tracking all these "green" handouts to see how much money is being kicked back to state and federal officials.

Dems in 2019: Biden is a senile old washed up has been.  We need new blood.

Dems in 2021: Biden is the in-control leader we need.  He's here to save us and thank God.

Reps in 2015: Trump is a reality show charlatan and ego maniac.  He has no place in leadership

Reps in 2021: Idiots voted out a great man because of some mean tweets.

And just think! We're just a couple years from doing it all over again!

Looking forward to Trump vs. Biden Round 2. When both guys are 100% hopeless olds (WAIT! That's now!), mumbling and rambling with only a hint of coherency to what they're saying, while all the partisans are trying to sell one or the other as "presidential material" despite how all the evidence is pointing to them both shitting their Depends while insulting each other at a "debate".
