To be fair, I've never seen a president so harassed in my lifetime as Trump was. Without looking up references, I can't even think of one off the top of my head. Bill  Clinton or Barrack Obama didn't even come close to the amount of harassment and persecution that Trump did - neither was Nixon. I just don't see how anyone can say he did a lot of good or a lot of bad. His being a royal jackass didn't help, either, to be sure.
But the sheer amount of conspiracies put against him by the democrat machine was the thing.

South Korea President singing karoake at dinner is bound to prompt a few stereotypical jokes...

I roll my eyes every time I hear someone talk about "the Big Lie".  Ummmm, you guys pushed Russia Russia Russia for over 3 years...

I also think, barring sanity and decorum returning to DC (which seems HIGHLY unlikely) that this is going to become typical behavior from the opposition party.

But have to admit, as slimy as I think Trump is it's pretty remarkable as the most investigated person in history that, so far, they've only managed to bring one civil suit of questionable merit, and a "felony" that might very well get thrown out.

I think the NY AG said they had 60+ investigations into Trump.  That should be EXTREMELY upsetting to people regardless of what you think about Trump.  Kind of like the spin-doctoring on socialism, this isn't technically "fascism" but it has all the earmarks and same effect.

Dems are having a hatefest on twitter tonight over Biden's new campaign ad.

The shitlibs want to know where is the portrayals of their green energy initiatives (lol)
The left wants to know where the gendered cabinet members are (lol)

And I'm just sitting here wondering why Kamala Harris isn't enough for them, anymore.

The dems in the House and Senate are already throwing their votes behind Biden. Specific to this post, Bernie Sanders is also leading the way in showcasing how the progressives will stand behind Biden. They have no real platform, no innovation, no plans to stop the endless (and expanding) wars, no economic ideas. All they are running for this time is their beloved boogeyman, "muh orange man bad!"
In fact, it looks like the dems will be rallying behind Biden based on social media themes:

https://apnews.com/article/bernie-sanders-biden-endorsement-2024-d8f0772b117e2bf83e1062708ea651c0

“The last thing this country needs is a Donald Trump or some other right-wing demagogue who is going to try to undermine American democracy or take away a woman’s right to choose, or not address the crisis of gun violence, or racism, sexism or homophobia,” Sanders said in an interview. “So, I’m in to do what I can to make sure that the president is reelected.”

Biden on Tuesday announced his decision to seek a second term, even as polls suggest that voters in both parties don’t want him to run again.

Of course. All the ists, all of the phobias, all of the isms. That's the ONLY thing that the dems have.

And when they aren't humping those suffixes, they are blatantly pushing for government to get more involved in the medias by pushing banning, censorship and not only continuing their practice of jailing journalists, but putting it on steroids and energy drinks.

I've got news for Sanders: The dems haven't done a damn thing for the working class in decades.

“People will do what they want to do,” Sanders said of other potential primary challenges. “I think Joe Biden will be the Democratic nominee. And my job, and I think the progressive movement’s job, is to make certain that he stands up and fights for the working class of this country and does not take anything for granted.”

Ironically that’s what the R’s have?

Banning books, crt, abortion, trans, gays, bud light, tax breaks for wealthy. What are they running on this year.

Not arguing that the dems aren’t horrific but aren’t they both exactly the same?

Keep calling it banning books. Didn’t realize you were so pro-porn for minors. It’s called age appropriate.

Somehow you also forgot years ago when the Dems tried banning Huck Fin and to Kill a Mockingbird. Calling the right the party of book banking is as ridiculous as the left being the party of pedos.

Anyone else see Randi the school union lady trying to talk up how she tried re-opening schools and keeps getting “Community Noted” on Twitter. She deserves jail time for her role in school shutdowns.

Interesting. I say interesting because nazi's and skinheads usually have zero qualms about showing their faces, preferring instead their 15 minutes of fame.

I wonder how many of those (looks like less than 10) people are a senator/democrat/DOJ/CIA/FBI working in DC right now? hmmm...

Ironically, it's a faction of the republican party that is voting against more wars/war funding as part of their force the vote agreements with McCarthy, trying to get back to pre-covid fiscal spending, I don't see republicans introducing bills with language that pushes for kids to get their bodies frankensteined, or imprisoning (or threatening to imprison) journalists and going so far as to send IRS agents to their homes to put further pressure on them, I don't see the republicans acting out political persecutions against anybody who challenges them and that's just the tip of the absolute malignant fuckery that the dems have been doing for years.

If this is your way of trying to take the heat off of dems, by trying to equalize actions of one against the other, you fail miserably and probably should be a little bit embarrassed because it fails more and more as you go down the list. The actions are not remotely equal, even if you wished they were. They are not.

Oh and let's not forget that it's not the RNC who is shutting down the democratic process by rejecting the idea that other voices are heard, to let other ideas come to light. It's the democrats doing that.

You seem to pile in dems for weird stuff that most people never heard of like the pedo letters and hold them accountable for the extreme members, while casually dismissing the same on the right

Antifa?!  What in the absolute fuck is really the matter with you?

Please explain so that I can have some enjoyment with this.

Well you pay attention to weird stuff, but why would the dems make a statement about something so obvious. Like who would be for that ?

Yes I’m for porn in schools sounds rational. This is why you guys lose voters. Huck Finn? 40 years ago? Like one book? Cmon man also banning books is always the wrong side no matter who it is
