Also, I haven't followed close enough to know. Are these books being banned from being sold in the state? Or just being banned from libraries? And if they are being banned from libraries, is it all libraries or just school libraries?

If a parent wanted to expose their kids to these books, do they have that ability?

Me thinks you know the answer to all of these.

Can you provide a list of the "banned" books that do not contain graphic sexual depictions?

Can you refute the claims being made in this tweet in reference to the stack of books pictured in the article? Is he wrong in his characterization of these books? I honestly don't know, and you seem to have knowledge on the subject so I'm hoping you can clear it up for me.

I just looked up those 5 books that Chelsea Clinton posted as helpful to kids. One I already knew about, Lolita. The others:

Jesus Christ...

How ANY adult believes that kids should have access to these books is absolutely sickening. Fucking sickening.

Matt Taibbi - the journalist that was central to the Twitter files - is still going strong releasing information exposing the collusion between government agencies and the Biden administration. Since this all started the government and its media propaganda outreach machine has threatened him with imprisonment, sent IRS agents to his house and has done everything under its power to discredit him. If this keeps up it is only a matter of time before he will be forced to flee this country and live in a foreign embassy.

There are times when you wouldn't know this is the United States of America, and they seem to be occurring more often of late.

Interesting thread

Some of the books are so graphic that when parents read them at board meetings (to voice their displeasure) they get forced to stop for being too vulgar. So either Gblock is knowledgeable on this and is pro-porn for kids, or he just follows the most leftist clowns on Twitter and hasn’t seen the extent of this.

I don’t know which lists are accurate and which are not so idk. But I have seen lists with books being banned such as Night by eli weisel (sp), diary of Anne frank, books about Roberto Clemente and Jackie Robinson, Dr Seuss books to name a few. I will try to verify some lists this week.

I’ll help you out a bit. Libs banned the Dr. Seuss books (maybe also, but did). And the Anne Frank book is not the original in the cases I saw, but a graphic adaptation that includes sexualized thibgs. Also, wasn’t your whole argument before that just because one school or teacher does something doesn’t mean it is happening all over? (Even though you were wrong about the gender stuff).

Yes we have actually discussed that dr suess book here before. As I said I am against anyone banning books. And you are also correct these books you are talking about and making a fuss about are very rare in schools if ever even checked out by a high school student. You are also correct that is is a very small minority that most people don’t agree with making all the noise getting books banned. I have found several lists already from school districts where moms for liberty is trying to banned or has banned much longer lists of books than what is portrayed by the graphics tweet shown

This list was from Arkansas and I pulled from a news article.

You can be against book banning, I think that's a pretty common principle.

But as has been said before, there is a difference between that and making sure that a book's content is age appropriate and not readily available for child consumption.  Yet, here you are, repeatedly denying that there is a difference.

Well, the DemMedia machine has already started their work on RFKjr.

ABC has started to censor him already, because he's challenging big pharma covid policy controlled info releases, removing whole sections of his words from their platform.

NBC has started their smear campaign, calling him "fringe". He's polling at around 20%. That's pretty good, considering that he's being censored and smeared already, yet still polling at that number.

It's also interesting that youtube is still putting up these markers that are meant to cast doubt on any idea that conflicts with what the government tells you.

Just so I know we’re on the same page we are talking about high school right?

Any public education K-12 shouldn't be using taxpayer money to pay/provide such sexually exploitive material. Truthfully, private education shouldn't be providing it, either.

If you, as an "educator" can't differentiate between the definition of intercourse and a pictorial showing an adult giving a strap on a blow job, then that is a belief system that you and others like you have to own.  I'm not jealous.

In other news, government regulators have seized another bank, First Republic (the 2nd largest collapse in history) and sold it to JPMorgan.

I'm not liking this trend of failing banks and not sure how it's all going to end. But right now it's hard to definitively say that JPMorgan won't end up owning all of them.

That’s a lot of words. We are talking about high school in these conversations Correct? I have no idea what has you triggered or what blowjob you are talking about. It was really a simple question

Don’t be obtuse, it has literally been shown on this thread.

Simple yes or no question.

Should sexually explicit books, depicting with pictures oral sex on both hetero and homosexual encounters, be available for any child (17 or under) to check out of a library at a public school?

That’s a pretty simple question, can you answer it with a yes or a no?

So you didn't read any previous posts, but going to take a stance on them.

Got it!

I would say no. And I said that already. We then moved on to the many other books that this has lead to being banned. As far as that picture, they don’t say what the book is, if It was in a library or where.. I read the whole thread. People asked and there was no response. This whole thing is a nothingburger of things that don’t happen. Kids can go in their search bar on their phone and hit blowjob. They aren’t going to the school library for it. But like I said earlier it is leading to other books like “the haindmaids tale” for example. And when I bring it up you keep screaming about this obscene picture. It’s inflammatory I get it but like I said 5 times they are using it to over reach.

I read the entire thread. Then I said that it was leading to many other books being banned. I gave examples and a list. And yet you keep repeating this inflammatory picture with zero context. I will repeat. If it was just this book or the few others with sexual material cool. However several lists I looked at from board meetings around the country vary from 4-24 pages. I posted one. We can discuss it or not but pleass stop saying I am for porn in school or that kids are getting porn at school.

I’ll finish with this on the topic. I couldn’t care less if they ban 100 books. Kids don’t really check out books from the library anyway. It is a huge argument about something that rarely happens. But like I said people don’t want other’s controlling what they do. They don’t want the govt in their medical decisions or in their schools. I will always be about less laws. Same with the gender reassignment stuff, it is extremely rare and it has turned into literally the whole party platform. It’s weird, all of it. Hyper focused on stuff that doesn’t really happen and it will continue to cost elections. How about worry about inflation or housing or homeless or veterans or something.

Now, look up the book Gender Queer, which is in many elementary school libraries.

Is that ok or not, yes or no?

And saying “well they can just look it up on their phone anyway” is a bullshit argument about whether it should be in schools, you know it, we all know it.
