I am not saying shit about Omarosa. I haven't said a word about her, so i am not sure why you are trying to go down that path..  I watched that first season of the Apprentice, I knew she was bat shit crazy.   All i said was your response pretty much proves Candace's point. You're making it very easy for her to improve her credibility, even though you don't believe she has any.  Congrats.

I get your point, but you're missing mine.  It doesn't matter whether the person is the smartest in the world or has no credibility, they both would receive the same type of backlash i just described, because they don't fit the left's typical narrative for black people.

Whether you believe she is credible or not, it doesn't change the fact that her content brings up some very valid points.  There are plenty of others who are black people much smarter than Candace, much more credible than her, and also have brought up the same exact valid points that she brings up.  They all receive the same exact backlash as she does.

Who?

My original post about Candace was in response to heretics post about Omarosas credentials to work in the whitehouse. I commented that her credentials are probly higher or equal to Candace. If you are going to name a black person and use that person as a reason why I also should think the same  as that person, of course I am going to look at that person to see why or why not I should value their opinion.

Yiur description of how she is treated actually sounds closer to how the right treats kaep

Who?

Thomas Sowell, Hermain Cain, Larry Elder, Walter Williams, any black republican (Rice, Powell before he supported Obama, Ben Carson, etc), Clarence Thomas, etc.  It doesn't matter how smart/credible they are, they will get the modern day "uncle tom" treatment.

Who?

Thomas Sowell - not conservative

Coleman Huges - not conservative

CJ Pearson - conservative

Terrence Williams - conservative

Antonia Okafor - conservative

Larry Elder - conservative

David Clarke - conservative

Allen West - conservative

Tyrus - I don't know if he subscribes to any particular ideology

Ayaan Hirsi Ali - not conservative

Not all of these people are consevative, but they are all black. They are also all free thinkers who get mocked, ridiculed and defamed daily by the left. Some even receive credible death threats daily from the left and the right. And these are only the people I can think of off the top of my head. I haven't even put much thought into it. I probably could come up with more but I'm rather lazy right now.

But the point is, these people don't play identity politics with the left such as we see even in this thread.

Please provide examples of "the left" giving these people "Uncle Tom Treatment" en masse - not just a few isolated examples.

I am a free thinker but there are things I will never do.

vote for someone who has free health care who wants to convince me I don’t deserve free health care.

vote for someone who would increase an insane military budget and cut Medicaid and social security.

Vote for someone who gives insane tax breaks to corporations that will eventually have to be paid for by again cutting social security and Medicaid and asking seniors to work longer. I get people hate SS but it’s not fair to take the money someone’s whole life and then cut it when tney go to use it.

I have a few other key issues involving police  and justice system but overall I vote to issues not parties.

lol no, I am not going to go thru every person I listed and provide examples for you to scoff at.  I like how you gave yourself an out though by requesting no isolated examples.  Sets yourself up to always say I am giving anecdotal evidence no matter how much evidence is provided.  I see thru that bs.

You love your google searches, just google each name and you will have plenty.  You're not dumb and I know you weren't living under a rock.  You paid attention to the 2012 GOP primary and 2016 GOP primary to know how they media treated Cain and Carson.   You also know how the media treated Rice and Powell when they under the Bush administration.

It’s funny that this term identity politics gets thrown around when I question the validity of someone who has only voted once in their life, and has held their beliefs for exactly 18 months as the shining beacon for free thinking black people

I surely hope you aren't seriously trying to say it doesn't happen.

It's the mere fact she challenges the conventional wisdom for minorities and states that the left actually doesn't give a fuck about them or do anything to help them.  Plenty of "free thinkers" have said this, but she became a more prominent "brand" when Kanye recognized her.  It's really not that difficult to understand.  I wish more minorities would listen/read the content provided by the people I listed earlier (along with CHS), but if Candace (with a huge assist by Kanye) is going to be the one to get minorities to break conventional thought, I am ok with it.

IOW you're narrative that "the left" gives black conservatives Uncle Tom treatment is largely exagerrated. As with nearly every think that some on the left do these days that rustles conservatives - it is exaggerated.

My point is neither the left or the right particularly cares about black people except to get elected. The right at this particular moment is the greater of two evils imho

A brief search for Condoleeza Rice and Larry Elder shows in the case of rice a comedian or civil rights activist I've never heard of calling her Uncle Tom and in Larry's case a rap song by Will Smith. I'd love to hear how these two examples are evidence of mass Uncle Tom Treatment from "The Left". I suppose every yahoo who called Barack Obama a N****** or a Muslim or a Terrorist represents "The Right".

Please provide evidence of these - not just a few isolated examples.

No sitting Democratic member of Congress called Condoleeza Rice an Uncle Tom. No member of the Democratic National Committee called Condoleeza Rice an Uncle Tom. And on and on. In any case, the burden of proof is on you who is making the extraordinary claim. The burden of proof is not on the person who questions the extraordinary claim.
