There are people on the left who call minorities who take differing political stances than what they feel they should have "uncle tom's" in order to discredit them. Just like there are people on the right who act like a lot of the left-wing types speaking out against certain things are "crisis actors" getting that Soros money in order to discredit them. The "it happens on both sides" argument doesn't really come into play with this topic. There are full retards on both sides, and then there are legitimately smart people deceiving people and doing everything they can do to make sure their conventional wisdom is not broken. One is much more prevalent than the other. There is a reason why black people continuously vote for the side that promises them that they have their best intentions in mind (not to mention these people end up running their towns) and then still hold the lowest median household income after all of these years.

If you believe a politician when they promise to fix your fucked-up life, you're screwed regardless of your race/sex/religion and regardless of which party the politician belongs to.

I never said they are dumb. That is your own insecurity, but apparently the left does think they are dumb considering they tell them they can't succeed without their help. What they are selling is a bunch of bullshit, but I do admit it all sounds really good.
I also acknowledge both parties are full of shit and will do anything for votes. I just find it funny the conventional wisdom is the left has always been the party that has had black people's (and all other minorities) best interests in mind.
