That's the best part, don't care if he's guilty, he deserves this. You want to tip toe around legalities and try to ruin a good man's life, F off.

LAPD is stating his wife isn’t the victim.

Lol you guys are funny.

Repub gets accused of domestic violence/sexual abuse: let the process play out, there’s very little evidence!

Dem gets accused of domestic violence/sexual abuse: I don’t even care if he’s guilty or not, he deserves this!

Pretty different circumstances... one was a guy who for the last 20 years has been a stand up citizen while this other guy tried to fraudulently accuse that guy of a horrific crime. Same sketch guy recently accused Tucker Carlson of a false crime as well. You reap what you sow. I don’t want him to go to jail over false accusations, just think it’s hilarious as fuck that #believewomen is now thrown out the window. Pretty easy to understand.

Things like #believewomen are limited time offers, limited to when it would benefit one side's political goals.

I don't think anyone is opposed to letting the process play out?  You have to see the irony of someone going out of their way to ruin a man's reputation and life claiming there should be no process, but now does a 180 when it affects him.  I see this irony with anyone who preaches "believe women."

If he didn't do it, then so be it.  Let the process play out, but in terms of public opinion he doesn't deserve any sympathy after the bullshit he tried to pull off. Karma is a bitch.

I def see the irony in what you’re saying.

My point was to point out the irony in when a repub gets accused of something, it takes a minute to show up on here and then the “let the process play out, I don’t see any evidence this happened” comes out. But then a dem gets accused and it’s own thread gets started with comments clearly not in support of “let the process play out”

I'd ask if you see a difference between an accusation that wasn't even made formally to police, vs. ACTUALLY being arrested....but I know you don't.

This all makes me almost want to watch Tucker Carlson.  Almost.

Here’s what happened: he engaged with the deep state because he wanted to take advantage of their power and reach.  Unfortunately for him, the “Profound State” (a new secret counter plot launched by the Superfriends to fight the deep state) has zeroed in on him as a target and has now pulled the levers to take him down.

I am not buying what your selling on this one.  The media has rolled out the red carpet for this dude to make a name for himself and he went out of his way to take advantage of the Kavanaugh situation.  Like I said, if he is 100% innocent so be it, but the irony alone deserves it's own thread imo.

I went to the gym last night, and two middle aged chicks were watching this story on NBC news and I heard them say (paraphrasing) “there’s no way he hit any woman. He was set up by Trump because he’s anti-trump”

I thought about how fucking crazy those women sound, then I came on here and read the same exact take but just on opposite sides of the political aisle.

My point is, if you hate progressives, you are bashing this guy. If you are a lib, you are convinced he is innocent. And reverse the sides if this were a Trump guy. Which is where we are in America today...

I don't see how you are comparing the reaction to an innocent man's absurd allegations vs. this fucks. It has nothing to do with republican or democrat. It has to do with he is a piece of shit who actively uses false allegations as a weapon, and now got it thrown back in his face.

And who the fuck watches NBC news at the gym? I hope it WAS a plant, bc he deserves to have to deal with it.

I'm not going to wish that shit on random ass Sherrod Brown or something. I don't think Avenetti is guilty of this either, just laughing that it happened to him
