Baylor beat South Carolina. I know, a real shock to see a non-Kentucky SEC go down in flames once again.
Shit, Kentucky should just join the MAC. Their football team could actually compete for titles and it's not like their basketball team would suffer much of a league downgrade, since the SEC is essentially a mid-major conference outside of them and Florida.

Well BG has Wichita's assistant as the new HC and I've heard a lot of good things. They looked miles better than last year for sureHeretic;1675804 wrote:Well, you've pretty much already said the answer to the question must be "HELL NO", so there you go.

Yeah, but they were the worst team in the MAC East last year. Unless they pulled in some "better than MAC-level" freshmen, I don't know how much of an improvement can be expected, regardless of coaching. And unless you're at the top of the conference in the MAC, you aren't shit in the grand scheme of things.Classyposter58;1675808 wrote:Well BG has Wichita's assistant as the new HC and I've heard a lot of good things. I mean, Ohio got Saul Phillips, who made it to the Round of 32 last year, but I'm not exactly waiting for NCAA tickets yet, despite he has to be about 1000% better than that fucking Jim Christian.

NCAA? Haha I just want to watch a team that can compete. Btw quick rant, playing BG/UT on a Wednesday is one of the worst ideas of all time. The basketball game got pushed to 4 PM which means all of 12 people will probably be thereHeretic;1675811 wrote:Yeah, but they were the worst team in the MAC East last year. Lol. Drake is awful. Picked 9/10 in the Missouri Valley. Just ahead of powerhouse Loyola-Chicago.

O man I used to play basketball way back in the day against Zach Garber. Crazy hearing his name in this game. Never knew he made it to the NCAAs that is awesome.

I played against (HS) and also with (AAU) Brian Roberts. I shake my head everytime I see him on the floor in an NBA game.Iliketurtles;1675867 wrote:O man I used to play basketball way back in the day against Zach Garber. Also really wanted Toledo to go after Mark Donnal more. He is a FANTASTIC shooter, and has great footwork, but is soo slow for the B1G.Iliketurtles;1675867 wrote:O man I used to play basketball way back in the day against Zach Garber. Then I look up the UofM box scores and he is starting this year after the redshirt. Of course, Michigan is extremely thin up front and not deep. But, still...imagine Toledo this year with him on the squad?

Haha that would be crazy. Yeah me playing against Garber was just pickup games or open gyms. I think if anyone I ever played against made it to the NBA I'd think that was ridiculous. Although there is this dude who I played a few pickup games with back in college who is with the globetrotters haha.Laley23;1675870 wrote:I played against (HS) and also with (AAU) Brian Roberts. Definitely would have been awesome for Toledo.Laley23;1675871 wrote:Also really wanted Toledo to go after Mark Donnal more. He is a FANTASTIC shooter, and has great footwork, but is soo slow for the B1G.

Foul trouble is going to kill Toledo in this game due to not really having a bench at all.

Matt Costello is terrible. How the hell is he a starter at Michigan State.

Briante Weber is approaching a quadruple double. He will fall short cause of time.
13 pts, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, 7 steals.

VCU is really good, but I cannot stand how officials let these teams get away with so much. People point to the foul total at the end and mention it's even. But, over the course of a game (tonight for example), they foul 3x as much. I thought the new rules would stop it, but as we can see, they don't lol.

Toledo pissing down it's leg, and as far as the officiating is concerned, the ticky tack calls are awful!

Can't believe I'm saying this...but Dakich is starting to grow on me. Mostly from just an entertainment standpoint.
Should be noted though that most were probably glad craft was gone because Dakich talked about him nonstop. Well bad news. Kam Williams is a freshman and he's slobbering on him already... so gonna be a long few years.

Kentucky players are literally lunging into Kansas players for rebounds.
Oh and then gets a timeout despite not actually holding onto the ball
