Probably because he's one of the few coaches who would actually flat out admit that he's watching tape, scouting and making phone calls to CURRENT athletes at other schools. Haha. In a way, I respect it because he's always going to have a backup plan, but it's not the most tactful.centralbucksfan;1719363 wrote:http://collegespun.com/acc/louisville-big-east/report-louisville-lands-one-of-the-countrys-best-graduate-transfers

Yeah but in order to even have someone transfer you need permission to contact while they're still a current SA at another school.Azubuike24;1719371 wrote:CURRENT athletes at other schools
Almost every single transfer involves contact between a school and a student-athlete currently competing at another school.

How often does a coach make comments during the NCAA Tournament that he's actively recruiting other players? Maybe I just haven't heard it. Either way though, you're point is valid.

Very similar to the first half Saturday. What were there, like 3 at half for Wisconsin?SportsAndLady;1719418 wrote:Refs not blowing the whistles tonight.

Welp seasons over, lets hope the Bucks can win one next year. Wishful thinking.

More excited about Mitchell, at least we will have guards and wings that can make plays and make shots again.Terry_Tate;1719499 wrote:Austin Grandstaff going to be the next Grayson Allen.

Anyone ever been to some of these final 4's in the big arena's such as last night? Many of those seats have to be horrible.
I remember back in 1987 when IU played in New Orleans I think it was. They interviewed a guy who was in the top row who said "up here the game is just a rumor".
Only time I ever been was back in HS a few of us went to see Damon Bailey play in the hoosier dome for the state finals for bedford north lawrence. Think it was like 40K that were there and last night was over 70. It wasnt set up as poorly for that HS game, of course, as the FF is just a money grab for as many seats.

UK and Calipari holding a press conference at 2:30 tomorrow. Expected to announce official departure of Karl Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein, Aaron Harrison, Andrew Harrison, Trey Lyles, Devin Booker and Dakari Johnson.

Really besides WCS and Towns, none of those guys are going to play any meaningful minutes in the NBA. I think they are get drafted but meaningful minutes? Maybe in China.Azubuike24;1720001 wrote:UK and Calipari holding a press conference at 2:30 tomorrow. Booker and Lyles have a lot of offensive skill. Not stars, but will find decent careers I think. Johnson and the Harrison twins, well, they returned when their stock was arguably higher last year, so it was due. Of the 7, the Harrison twins could be suspect to even get picked, especially Aaron.

I think Lyles will be borderline Allstar eventually. I don't see Booker as more than a 6th man.

Lyles is good. 6'9 with great skills as a post and wing.
Though, his shooting was much worse this season than I expected (at least, seemed that way from games I watched)

So...
JP Tokoto is entering the draft. I'm confused. But good luck to him.

Troy Williams will return. He really shouldn't have been considering it, but good news for the Hoosiers. Now they just need Yogi to come back and decide no on Europe, as he is said to be 50-50 in that regard.

FYI the deadline to declare for the NBA draft is April 26th
The closer we get to that, obviously more and more unsigned recruits will start to make their decisions.

Did they end up extending the deadline for early entry withdrawal?
