Who was the guy on the huddle who constantly bitched about Eric wedge during the 2007 when the tribe was clearly the first or second best team during that whole season?

You just made my point for me. Reading comprehension clearly isn't a strength of yours either.like_that;1600922 wrote:Uhh no they didn't. GB fans were begging Favre not to "retire" after they lost in the NFCC to the giants, and drew Bledsoe got injured the season that tom Brady took over. Nice fail though.
Also Rodgers sat behind Favre for more than 1 year and I don't remember anyone bitching to get rid of Favre. Keep pulling shit out of your ass though.

First incompletion would have the crowd chanting Johnny. But if it's neck and neck or Hoyer looks better I don't think anyone would blame the team for starting him either. Give me a break..
The back-up QB is always the most popular guy in Cleveland.
Not to mention we want the national relevance that comes with adding Johnnyfootball to your roster.

The only thing that's bullshit is you thinking you have any credibility after this line. Pro days are absolutely meaningless for top prospects and any smart football person will tell you that, articles have been written about it, and the Browns aren't the only team who have skipped out on pro days.IggyPride00;1600706 wrote: Look at this bullshit with them not going to prodays for whatever God forsaken reason even though the rest of the league does.

Well that and the entire Carroll-Wilson-Flynn line, which seems to insinuate that everyone on this board has a memory that stretches back less than a year or so. Considering that Flynn was the hot FA back-up for that year and Wilson was a third-round pick who had a lot of questions about him to the point some considered him going that early to be a stretch.lhslep134;1600932 wrote:The only thing that's bullshit is you thinking you have any credibility after this line. I distinctly remember MY feelings towards all the "Flynn to the Browns" talk. Reference page 135 of the 2012 Browns thread.... And I'm not even a paid NFL talent evaluator, so quit saying Pete Carroll is a genius for starting Wilson over Flynn. It's obviously because Flynn is horrific.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1115306 wrote:Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

Never said he was a genius for starting Wilson. Just saying that at the time Wilson was drafted, the general pundit consensus was that Flynn was the man there due to the amount of accolades he'd gotten for being the flavor of the month back-up (you know, like guys like Frank Reich, Steve Beuerlein, etc.) and Wilson was a dumb pick because of that and how he didn't fit the Seattle system.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1600965 wrote:I distinctly remember MY feelings towards all the "Flynn to the Browns" talk. While Iggy was acting like it was some "No one with a brain sits the rookie behind a journeyman!" situation. Far from it on many levels. If Flynn was 1/2 the QB the Hawks thought he was from his spot appearances in GB, Wilson would have sat for at least some period of time.

Don't want to turn this into a tribe thread, but dolans and making money hand over fist before they begin to sell tickets. They can afford to pay and be profitable. They're just scumbags who care more about making a few extra mil to themselves than winning a championship.IggyPride00;1600920 wrote:Won't happen.
Dolan was the 3rd head of the of the Axis of Evil in this town as far as the big 3 teams go and we have yet to purge ourselves of them.
At least the Browns and Cavs had the wisdom to run those Bums Banner and Grant out of town.
Unfortunately the Tribe will never be so lucky because we have the Dolan family bleeding the teams finances dry. They are a plague on this city and can't afford the team. Thus we are left to make the best of a bad situation.

Derek Carr - QB - Bulldogs
ESPN's Ashley Fox writes there is a "growing sentiment" that Fresno State QB Derek Carr could be the Browns pick at No. 4.

Derek Carr is starting to grow on me, would be ok with him at 26, not so much at 4.
But he did compete in a Pro Style system, and he's got as much arm talent as anyone in the draft. Just scared he shares too much of his brothers genes.

What kind of pro style offense do you throw our of the shotgun a majority of the time?HighRoller74;1601296 wrote:Derek Carr is starting to grow on me, would be ok with him at 26, not so much at 4.

His sophmore year they ran a more pro style offense(62.9% 3500yrd 26 TDs, 9int)
I agree the last two years was more of a spread, but hes got the experience, and was successful
But as I've said before, I really don't put too much stock into the system they play, as long as its not an option based attack, because if you can sling it, you can sling it regardless how you line up.

Former Lions WR Nate Burelson reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns, per source.

Hell, this past season when the Browns reeled off 3 straight wins to a 3-2 record you were mia. I can already see your doom and gloom post after a week 1 loss for this upcoming season. For anyone taking notes, save this post, because it will happen. It won't be a post about the game itself, where the Browns failed to convert on opportunities. No, it will be a post about how the FO is sticking it to cleveland and showing us that they are smarter than us. He will also let us know how Mack and Haden are for sure gone after this season (just like you predicting Mack would be gone after this previous season LOL). He will also pretend that he knows exactly what Farmer is thinking and what is going on inside closed doors.
2. You mean to tell me that in the past 15 years you predicted that most FO members were going to fail? WOW!!!! You went out on a limb there. Congrats on fapping to your glorious predictions. Must be hard to constantly predict failure /sarcasm.
3. Farmer doesn't give a fuck about the rope you have on him, especially since you are wrong about 98% of the time. Hopefully he never meets you or reads this forum, because fans like you give the rest of us a bad name. Also, Farmer now should draft JFF because it will give him a 2 year grace period with you? LOL, sounds like a great way to build a true winner. We should definitely trade 2 first round picks to exchange spots with the Texans now! I am glad you are not the GM.
4. Even if we draft Manziel (or any rookie QB), you are setting yourself up for a massive QQ fest, because any QB that is drafted will be standing on the sideline this year learning from Hoyer. You guys can mark this down as another can't miss IQQY prediction. If the Browns draft Manziel (or any of the top 3 QBs), and he doesn't start, expect to see IQQY trash Pettine and the FO. That's of course assuming Hoyer doesn't bring in any wins. If the Browns start off winning, we won't see IQQY posting here.

I would hope we still draft a young guy in the first 2 rounds. He's definitely a decent depth signing though, and I like him a lot better than Little or Bess! lollike_that;1601854 wrote:Yeah, we are in trouble if he is our 2nd best option.
