Hawkins probably is the 6th option and 3rd best WR for them. That's fine he's going to be the same here but also brings a much needed threat to the slot position.

He host meant that the 6th option on whom they would want to have the ball...including handing off to the RB's.like_that;1592982 wrote:Sounds like Cincy sports radio is just as full of shit as cleveland sports radio. LOL at Dalton throwing to six options.
and I couldnt disagree with him.
Just alot of $$ the browns spent on that option and it was front loaded. I wonder if they did that because they have $$ they need to spend. Ithink it was last year when the latest CBA kicked in that teams must avg over a 4 year period at least 90% of the salary cap. I had been hearing they have had alot of $$$ to spend the last couple of seasons.

This contract Isn't for previously years produced. It's for their perception on his future value. He seems explosive and the front office seems to think he will only get better.thavoice;1593024 wrote:He host meant that the 6th option on whom they would want to have the ball...including handing off to the RB's.

I think the season can already be considered a success just by not having Weeden or Campbell on the team anymore.

Interesting both of those QB's were picked up.Rotinaj;1593356 wrote:I think the season can already be considered a success just by not having Weeden or Campbell on the team anymore.
I remember another washed up browns QB who went on to win a SB elsewhere as a backup, and I didnt know until last night that Byner also won a SB after he left cleveland. LOTS of former browns find themselves with SB trophies after they leave.....
With tha tsaid....Guess only Farmer was at TB's train wreck of a pro day. Browns playing it very coy with the QB's in this draft....

Yeah, he had a lot to do with that SB title....thavoice;1593417 wrote:Interesting both of those QB's were picked up.

Also, I HIGHLY doubt this mock is anywhere close to accurate: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/mock-drafts/daniel-jeremiah/195602?campaign=Facebook_writers_jeremiah

I think it is close and yet so far away. Matthews could go that high, but no reason Cleveland needs a tackle at #4. If TB falls after #11, his reasoning that he could free fall makes sense if no one trades back up to get him. Who is going to throw the ball to Watkins in Jax?like_that;1593825 wrote:Also, I HIGHLY doubt this mock is anywhere close to accurate: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/mock-drafts/daniel-jeremiah/195602?campaign=Facebook_writers_jeremiah

I definitely could see TB slide, doubt he'd go to 26, as I'm sure someone would trade up to get him ahead of the Browns selection, which if the Browns are interested in him, they could trade up themselves to get him.
However as a pure value pick, I could see Cardinals at 20 taking him.

Weeden signed to be a 3rd QB, and Campbell is signed to back up Faildy Dalton, mostly bc Mike Brown is a cheap fuck. Great argument.thavoice;1593417 wrote:Interesting both of those QB's were picked up.

Ummm no. The Browns would just pass on ANY of the 3 QBs for a tackle? I don't see that scenario playing out ever, nor do I see Bridgewater falling to 26th. Pretty dumb mock imo.like_that;1593825 wrote:Also, I HIGHLY doubt this mock is anywhere close to accurate: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/mock-drafts/daniel-jeremiah/195602?campaign=Facebook_writers_jeremiah

We won't get him because we never get my favorite Buckeyes lol but I agree he's going to at the very worst be solid. High ceiling with that kind of athleticism.Automatik;1594233 wrote:Shazier at 26? Kid is gonna be solid for whoever lands him.

Just think he disappeared in some games this year. He had good stats, but not really an "impact" LB.
