I thought it was 4pm? Ive heard confilicting reports.

I heard the Browns brought in Aaron Berry the CB from the gets. He was really good at Pitt but has had plenty of injuries since being in the NFL.

Not as cheap as one would think. $5.8M the first year... but it's also encouraging that the Browns signed him to a 4 year contract. Obviously, they have seen things they like in Hawkins. In that regard, shopping for team's 4th WR seems like a sneaky good idea! lol

I'm liking our FA haul so far. Interested to see what else we will do to fill the holes.

I agree with the above poster, I'm really liking Sammy Watkins at the 4 and taking our chances with Hoyer for the year, with a QB taken later in the draft.

I'd still take TB if thats who they want regardless of his "bad" pro day. I've seen him play and know what he can do. I like Sammy, but feel we are pretty set with passing targets with the addition of Hawkins and the continued maturation of Gordon and Cameron.

NFL Films guru Greg Cosell stated on the Ross Tucker Podcast that he believes Clemson's Sammy Watkins is the best wide receiver prospect since A.J. Green and Julio Jones came out for the 2011 draft.

"If you just look at the skill set," Cosell said of Watkins, "I think you're dealing with a guy who's an explosive mover. He's a powerful mover. There's velocity to his movement. He can run over people. He's got straight-line speed. He's laterally quick. He's got run-after-the-catch strength." Watkins is also considered a pro-ready route runner. He's a lead-pipe lock to be drafted in the top-seven picks.

Careful... The resident internet gang tried to crucify me for saying we should draft Watkins.

Yes, I couldn't care less about Pro Days, the film shows Bridgewater is a damn good QB in a pro-style offense. I want Bortles or TB if they are there, if they aren't I want Mack or Watkins, in that order.

Don't worry, I can disagree with Dr. Kno it all without him getting defensive/butthurt and immediately going into douche mode.

From most of the tape I've seen on Bridgewater, i'm not impressed. His highlight reel is full of throws to wide open receivers or receivers with great RAC. Now I won't lie and say nothing impressed me, as their were a few good throws in there, but the Level of Competition makes me hesitant.

Wide open because he checked to the correct play? One of the reasons I like Bridgewater and Bortles is the fact that they had complete control over their offenses in college, trusted enough to check in and out of plays. That's not something that's done by a lot of QB's.

Who would you prefer out of the top 3 QBs? If TB's level of competition makes you hesitant, then I'd figure you feel the same about Bortles.

Watch the Florida Louisville bowl game from 2013. The way he fit some throws in and the anticipation/ reads he was making against a top 3 defense that year. He completely shredded them. TB is a very smart qb. He basically ran Louisville's entire offense. So you can basically credit TB for making the right calls and audibles to have his receivers wide open

Weeden definitely didn't run Oklahoma st's offense. That is all Gundy. If weeden had any leeway at all it was to check a read. Completely different than audibling in a pro style offense

Possibly, but alot of times was his first read, and the guy was 5-10 yards open.

Like Durkie said, a lot of Bust QB's ran the offense, and could audible at the line.

Definitely wouldn't call Louisville's Offense "Pro Style" It has some pro aspects, but a LOT of spread offense principals mixed in, and some zone read.

None of the above.

I've stated numerous times, I'm personally not high on any of them. But if the FO loves one of the guys and takes them, i'm not gonna go IQQY and start bitching. They know more than I do lol.

At the same time, I'd argue that Florida really didn't want to play that game, but there were some great throws. Doesn't discount his numbers entirely, but these programs just don't get up for these BCS games. Looks at Alabama every time they aren't in the Championship game.

That is alot of $$$ for someone like him.

Cincy sportstalk last night was saying he was like their 6th option they would go to on offense.
Browns frontloaded the deal but that is OK, they have money they have to spend.
