"Least experienced" says the guy who brought up Tannehill?like_that;1112226 wrote:I don't understand this logic either when there are other QB's who are much more viable options.
If the Browns draft Weeden, he would be the oldest and least experienced QB in the AFC North. Talk about a joke.

That's just way too desperate.BR1986FB;1112227 wrote:Surrounding McCoy with weapons is a waste. Only way I'm down with staying the course with McCoy is if the coaching staff intentionally tanks the season to go "all in" for Barkley which I don't see happening. ANYBODY but McCoy...Hell, I'd take Derek Anderception back over McCoy.
At least he would be the youngest in the AFC North. Any rookie QB is going to be the least experienced in the NFL lol. I don't want Tannehill, i was just making a point that I sure as hell don't want some old ass QB who I was not impressed with.BR1986FB;1112229 wrote:"Least experienced" says the guy who brought up Tannehill?

Skins win 2 games and have the first pick, we win 5 and have the 7th pick , then we trade 4 #1's to the Skins for Barkley and they get their picks back  .... just kidding guysBR1986FB;1112227 wrote: Only way I'm down with staying the course with McCoy is if the coaching staff intentionally tanks the season to go "all in" for Barkley which I don't see happening.

And this is most likely what happens. Every year teams need that franchise QB and if history dictates anything, the Browns will be just out of striking distance for that player and not have the ammo, or the regime's nads will shrivel up, and they won't be able to make the move.Mr Miyagi;1112241 wrote:Skins win 2 games and have the first pick, we win 5 and have the 7th pick , then we trade 4 #1's to the Skins for Barkley and they get their picks back  .... just kidding guys

I really don't want to get into arguring interceptions, but McCoy's wasn't as bad as DumbAss's.

lol, biting my tongue BR. Arguing INTs is like arguing the tallest midget. Waste of time. I still haven't forgiven DumbAss or RAC for the Bungals game. Throw Mo Carthon onto that list as well for his cute little FB option pass play. SMH, what a bunch of fucking dipshits.

Anderson (as bad as he was overall) did make a Pro-Bowl McCoy isn't going to the Pro Bowl unless he buys a ticket.BR1986FB;1112236 wrote:Guess that shows how bad I think McCoy is.

How old is Flynn again? If Colt isn't going to be able to be the guy, either bring Flynn in and give him a shot or take a Weeden or Tannehill...I've mentioned this name before but I think Russell Wilson could be an interesting prospect. He played in a big time rushing offense at Wisky but he put up some good numbers throwing the ball and has pretty decent speed also. But I hope they land at least one FA WR that can help out this team.

Two meaningless games. A pass to a wide open Watson when the Browns were getting their asses handed to them and then the Indy game which featured the 2 worst teams in the league.

Exactly......McCoy padded his stats big time in that Tennessee game throwing for something like 350 yards on 40 completions. Most of that in garbage time when the defense was giving him EVERYTHING underneath. VERY poor example of his "highlights."Tigerfan00;1112357 wrote:Two meaningless games. You mean the game where Chudzinski had Anderson throw almost 50 times into 40 mph winds instead of going with the "ground & pound" when the Bengals had shown no signs of stopping Jamal Lewis (92 yards, 21 carries)? Meanwhile Palmer only throws 21x's while future HOF Kenny Watson rambles for 130 yards...That was just as much Chud's fault, if not more, than Anderson's.Commander of Awesome;1112273 wrote:lol, biting my tongue BR. Then you also have to throw out the interception against the Ravens defense, one of the top D's in the NFL and the pass was picked by Ed Reed, one of the best safeties in NFL history. All of you are simply arguing for your sides.BR1986FB;1112370 wrote:Exactly......McCoy padded his stats big time in that Tennessee game throwing for something like 350 yards on 40 completions. What it comes down to is the fact that McCoy has had ZERO weapons on offense. We don't know if he can play yet because the Browns were always behind so teams could send the house every other plays and man up on the outsides. Heck, we didn't even have a running game this year because Hillis was out all season, so tell me how any of this past season was a good representation of what McCoy can do. I wouldn't be opposed to drafting a QB or getting one through free agency, but I also think McCoy is a better QB than you are making him out to be. I mean, he's one of the winningest college QB's ever. College is not the NFL, but he also is a leader, smart, hard working, and has intangibles that make a good QB.
I think the Browns need to stop playing QB carousel, surround their current QB with weapons FOR ONCE, and then if he can't play, grab a QB next year.
