+1

I know he is inked for quite a while at Penn State. What are the numbers on his contract buyout?

Browns hired a new Executive Vice President Brent Stehlik, formally a vp of the Padres. A relative is close friends with him and really likes the hire. Cleveland guy, graduated from Mount, and is very good t the revenue side of things. Also worked with Alec, new pres, at Dallas for a short time. Haslem looks to be building the front office with solid pieces.

Ha yes we do. I feel a little different this year, maybe I'm naive. But Haslem has a reputation on the line, as well as his own finances. It's a rebuild for the rest of his ownership, not just a shitty personnel change due to sucking (even though we do). Cleveland has so much untapped revenue sources because Lerner never cared enough to try. Hopefully we finally get on track.

I wouldn't mind them considering Bruce Arians...I figure he could get offered a HC job after what he did with the Colts and Luck this year...has some Cleveland ties but not sure if Haslam/Banner would look his way. It would be interesting though.

+1. I'd definitely consider Arians.

Good bye Pat.....thank god.

Also, the Colts are now my least favorite team for drafting Luck.

What are the chances of Jimmy seeing Pat walk out of the locker room and fire him right then? Joke, but I'm sure he's not real happy with the way things ended and just cant wait to bring in his guy(s) HC and GM.

Pat will be gone tomorrow morning....at least that is everything I was hearing/reading.

I keep hearing that it is Saban's job if he wants it, but everyone says he has no interest.

On the business side. Not the side I'm especially concerned about.

Not saying Saban will take the job, but of course his people are going to say he isn't interested. It will be a better indicator of what he is going to do after his team plays in the title game

I'll be shocked if Saban leaves his current situation for Cleveland.

One of the NY teams, maybe SD, but not Cleveland.

Yeah, but I hear 10 yrs...100 million with complete control over player personnel. That would make any man think

10 mill a year is crazy! That's not happening

I think O'Brien would be a great hire, but I'm not sure he is bailing on Penn State so soon. Arians seems like a logical choice

$2-$3 million per year than current NFL head coaches is crazy.

Payton just became the highest paid guy at $8mil. Most guys who are high up make $7-7.5 mill. I think you can definitely say that a guy getting $10 mill per year for 10 years is crazy.

The other thing is that if the Browns want a guy with that kind of hype...they will have to overpay

Only place I can see Kelly succeeding is Carolina and Scam Newton

His philosophy won't work with QBs who are statues

With that being said, would love to see him in NFL

Kelly even said he would obviously tweak his offense some if he goes to the nfl. I don't think he needs a mobile qb. He's not a dumb guy
