Look I hope the kids are ruled eligible so they can wrestle. But stop thinking that anyone who doesn't like you has a personal vendetta against you or doesn't like you because your kids are good wrestlers.

That wasn't what I was trying to say. I'm more on your side than any other side of this argument but I didn't like how you assumed your kids had beaten fish82's kids or something when he voiced concern or disapproval of the way he handled the situation. Fish is not one of the posters who merely made an account to attack you or your kids, he's a good poster. That's why I posted that.

Now on a lighter front, judging by the hit count of this thread I bet you would win a popularity contest!

I have a few years in wrestling myself, and my son is a college wrestler now on the #1 ranked team in the nation,... so I'm not new to this.
I have NEVER seen coaches and fans wake-up late and sleep through their wrestlers State Tournament matches. EVER. Excuse me if we think there was ALOT more going on than what you are leading yourself and us to believe. --- Come on man, Its the State Tourney !!! Somebody pissed somebody off !!
You can dad/coach alot in youth and middleschool years, but High School starts to be the big time. The schools already have coaches, they start to resent any back-seat drivers. TRUST ME. They don't need dad bringing in Olympic coaches, back-yard training centers, Team So-n-So T-Shirts, or any of that other crap. They have a coaching staff and a gameplan.....Trust in That!
You don't strike me as the type of person that follows what others in authority positions dictate, .......Coaches, OHSAA, lawyers, anybody.... It can rub people in charge the wrong way, and I would bet it has alot to do with the reason that coaches forbid you from practice rooms, nobody shows up to state tourneys last year, OHSAA isn't letting your boy compete, and a whole host of other things you’ve described.
For Gods Sake, Man......wrestle were you live, and give coaching a rest for one 3.5 month HS season and see what happens. Make yourself that promise, and just enjoy the season from the bleachers like the rest of us dopey, know-it-all, has-been, previous playground-legend Dads.

I'm fairly certain that if my daughter was declared ineligible for volleyball, my newspaper interviews and incoherent internet rants would be pretty limited.

Of course, the chances of that happening are pretty slim, since I haven't spent 2 years shopping her around to a bazillion schools like a side of beef.

I guess having a perfect record as a coach over 25 years , never having a parent or a coach turn a complaint in on me or a administrator "calling me in" is not good enough for some, I should now sit in the stands and watch drunk and reckless Dads and 18 year olds coach? My sons with spotless records both in school, out of school, on the mat, at the OTC and home need punished for their parents being "whistle Blowers" . They deserved to be shunned by their mat backers, Coaches, and teammates for not be liked. The Drunks knew what they were doing , they were teaching my sons a "great leasson" by getting drunk and endangering my nephew and team members lives at the OHSAA State tournament. Forgive me if I did not buy the same book on Leadership, Values, Character and respect that my beloved hooded Anonymous friends and drunk coaches got at their book store. The calls, e-mails, texts I have gotten in support of the right thing is 9.9 to .1 . The only two opposition calls come from 2 in the middle of the night drunken rage calls and the other about is the about 7 or so repeat, unidentified posters on chatter who make a lot of noise but supply zero information and facts who have never been around my family. Lastly, the hearing tomorrow. It was moved up ..Unprecedented ..Thank you OHSAA. Down side...It was made a teleconference call and set for 20 to 30 minutes. First time ever no face to face..A little scary. The clerk who has made all the decisions in this case both to deem the boys eligible and then get a packet 3 months later and deem them ineligible on her own went on medical leave the day we accepted the teleconference meeting. We have received no info from her to prepare our hearing tomorrow, our"packet" has now already been prepared and sent back for all board members to review in advance to show respect for their valuable time. From what information we have received as to the "Packet" we have clarified and have meet all standards and answered all misunderstandings that was misunderstood and we know of nothing else that could possibly make the twins "ineligible". If there is a 'Smoking gun " it was not shared with us and we will not be prepared to defend ourselves and I can't imagine what it could be so I think that is a mute point. This is a hearing in front of a private association not associated with the schools or the state or federal government. They have the right to do this the way they want. The law and due process has nothing to do with this case. In a court of law you get bail, full disclosure of evidence to prepare you for your trial, you get to know who your accusers are, you get to face them, in court the person who committed the crime gets punished, not his children. The jury has no connections to either side.....Therefore we are on total reliance that their are great men on that board who will look out for my sons best interest and be fair and impartial ....we feel pretty good about that now, this can all go away tomorrow and two great kids can go back to doing what they love. We will move on and not turn back against Tuslaw or anyone else. Lets just wrestle. Thank you for listening...Hopefully this thread dies friday.
