Hey Falcon81. Just getting caught up with this incident. But got to ask why not Fairless? I believe your a Fairless grad, and seems like you've tried every wrestling school but your alum. A guy with the determination, desire, money you have you'd come to put the program on the map. I know Perry, Tuslaw, Northwest have excellent feeder programs. I would figure you would want to come down and put your stamp on the program, much like Jordan (graham) or Riggs (perry). the obvious love for the sport and desire to take charge, no one could stop you. Plus all the civic activity you do (Tuslaw levy, Annexation fight, Waynedale levy) would be welcome. I would have thought the open enrollment to Fairless would at least keep you from selling your home and avoid some of this. You could help build us a new wresling facility like the one at Tuslaw. Maybe you have reasons but being a Falcon you'd be proud. I'll bet Tuslaw will enjoy the extra tax you will be bring in with your business now inside their borders.

Hey Falcon82 , I take it you graduated with my wife! Those were some great years at Fairless 79, 80, 81, ! 3 straight years of football conference championships, The wrestling team finished 20-0 in Duals. We smashed the Lake invitational in most points ever scored by a team. The community pulled together and built a brand new stadium and My senior year we built a brand new wrestling room all with no tax dollars and a grass roots movement of community volunteers and donations!!!!! Oh my what has happened since!! Me and the Co/captain of that team had some great times as Falcons. John Heather went on to MVP and AA for a National championship football team at Mount Union. Another team mate AA for Mount in Wrestling, and another won 2 Mac Titles for Kent State. Another went on to be a state runner up in wrestling and help found my original company 22 years ago. My head wrestling coach who saved my life now works for the company I run since his retirement this summer. Another wrestler from that team does all my Major medical insurance. These guys all support my family and sons to this day.
It has been thankless at Tuslaw ,but you do what should anyway as long as your there. They don't like a Falcon has been there for 2 out of 4 of their State Titles. Don't like it that a Falcon saved them from Anexation this fall form The City of Massillion.I was the head assistant when Roger Loar won in 1986 and My son Cory won the last one in 2006. They don't like that. We all know the hate between these two schools...Its intense. I have always continued to root for Fairless, My Nephew starts for them. My Name last I heard is still in The hall Of fame at Fairless? is it still/ :LOL. I feel for the Falcons! They are Welcome to the team Nelson Man cave to train any time! Go(dark) Blue, the original Blue Pride! Now that My house is now a corporate and athletic complex I will soon be requesting the mayor of Massillion to Anex my complex and Tuslaw schools that I had just helped defeat on their behalf and then ran our residence out of town. IRIONIC ! You reap what you sew! The teachers can pay the 1.5 million in taxes the next ten years and send their thanks to the wrestling coach or his mom on the school board.

Woops ! Your not from Fairless? Sorry , Tuslaw? I understand why you didn't like my answer...to many details. Not even my closest friends who are still are at Fairless and kids go to Fairlaess are happy the direction Fairless has gone. They have been lost in the wilderness and struggling for 30 years. I will always root for them to turn around but its not happened outside my wrestling partners son, Melhorn in track and cross. He is the bomb. No I really like Waynedale we made a good decision to move there and I stand by that.
1 They are rated top 120 academically, over 120 schools ahead of Tuslaw.
2 Unique culture , amish, farmers, I grew up in Wilmot.
3 Same wrestling coach for 18 years. Outstanding father and values driven coach.
4 Insane fan support. The Sea of Gold.

I have read all the info that you have offered and hard to believe even half of it. It sounds like you single-handed took care of the proposed annexation of Tuslaw Local Schools by the mayor of Massillon, saving the employees of Tuslaw 1.5 million during the next 10 years. If I recall, there were many people, citizens and teachers, of the Tuslaw district that went to meeting after meeting in the city council to voice their opposition. The one time you appeared, you assume that you are the one that made the difference! How can you take the credit for that? Now I see, since you are mad at Tuslaw, you will go back to that mayor and ask to now have your home and the schools annexed. Do your realize how much your city taxes will be if that happens, but I think the payback to Tuslaw will be well worth it to you since you are so upset with just a very small group (as you say) in Tuslaw. Is it only to make one or two people employed by the school system pay? I guess I don't understand your reasoning.

Didn't you say your lawyers suggested you remove yourself from these postings but here you are again, what, going against the expensive lawyers, $5000 as you stated earlier?

Very short memories. Yes many people did bust their butts to stop annexation, but they failed. People gave up . They called me in on the last meeting. I dropped everything for a week and yes a surprise to all a press conference was called right after that meeting(1 hour) and the mayor reversed what was a done decision supposedly. Thankless, as your post verifies. Owning 2 of the three side of Tuslaw HS i do have the ability to force the school district into annexation, there are many attractive benefits offered by the city to do so, I have declined trying to be a good neighbor and not putting my own interest a head of the community at large. I fail to see this mutual respect or gratitude let alone the safety issues we have observed. Yes my lawyers told me to cool it on my case directly but this pertains to collateral issues not the OHSAA. Where are the concerned citizens of Tuslaw on major safety and welfare issues??? No where and those that are concerned are scared to death of retributions . What a shame for those who could not protect their children from unprofessional behavior and cough up 5000 dollars. It should not take 5000 dollars to lawyers for a common sense issue to be resolved and children protected. I have friends who have children attend that school district, and from what I hear, they all are so happy to be there. I know they have alot of open enrollment students from other districts, all happy to attend Tuslaw. The safety issue and welfare issues, are they what you posted a few days ago regarding the driving of a van at the state finals or is there something else? Unprofessional behavior, again, that pertains to wrestling? I have read so many of your posting, I guess I can't keep them all straight. Please enlighten me...again. We all need to know if you have proof of something else?
I am wondering also why you have just withdrawn your other two children from Tuslaw (that you stated earlier) since you moved in October I think to Apple Creek. That is a nice little drive every morning bringing them to school everyday since then, I would have thought you would have been anxious to have them attend Waynedale since you have such ill feelings towards Tuslaw district, the reason you moved in the first place.

Falcon81 ,you are a legend in your own mind. The decision regarding annexation was decided before the last meeting, city council had more to do with the decision than the mayor. The council was impressed by the tuslaw community, not one individual.

I guess you missed my post about the well documented by the school situation where a 6th grade Tuslaw youth wrestler jacked my little 2nd grader by the throat and called his family traitors and beat him up. Yes the biggest safety issue of all , on top of the many you failed to read and acknowledge will be coming out later, it makes Robert De Niro in Cape Fear look like a pussy cat! Your own Super at Tuslaw knows how crazy and Dangerous the situation is along with the Sherriffs department and the Highway State patrol. It will make the other things I have shared look like Sunday school. I imagine it will get 20000 hits. Sometimes bringing things out into the light can bring reason and common sense to the table and I am very confident it will. If you are a decent human being you will not possibly support the behavior committed on school grounds wrestling or not. We will see. Long long over due. How presumptuous for you to assume why or why not the Tuslaw Super encouraged us and approved the two small children stay until they finish a "special " class they were in the middle of a semester and that it did not affect the Twins eligibility. Relience on the experts of the Rules, the Super and the OHSAA is the prudent thing to do and there by is a defense to our actions and follow thru. You are apparently unaware of the schools policy's in such matters when there is a entire Family move. Nor are you aware of the existence of the continued use and tax based business now located at my old former residence which continues to be the highest taxed property in Tuslaw and continues to support the schools tax base. Nor are you aware of the timing of the bulling of my second grader, only recently by more out of control parenting of Tuslaw wresting families and their children. The parents were pulled into the school along with Bully and dealt with. Presuming safety and welfare of a child is what we pay the schools to do. The OHSAA has officially removed that right from your Super in regards to student athletes. Are you comfortable with that? These are very basic common sense issues.

All the OHSAA wants to know is if a signed, sworn by a public official (notary) document is truthful AND is it being adhered to..not sometimes, not part time..but ALL the time...from Oct. 2010 to Jan. 2011. All the rest of this is just BS.

Personally, I would have found the best polygraph in the state and answered the ONLY questions anyone wants to know..and post the results in a public place. "Do you and your entire family reside in your Apple Creek home exclusively since October 2010? Do you and your entire family eat, sleep, dwell in this Apple Creek home, and do you swear that you only use the Tuslaw 'residence' for business...not sleeping there, not eating family meals there, and all personal property relating to living as a normal family has been transferred to the Apple Creek home.?" Furthermore, Waynedale school officials have, as set forth by the bylaws, monitored and visited the Apple Creek home to make sure that they are doing what they said they would do according to the bylaws of this move."
