Just wondered everyones thought which city is worse? Cleveland or Detroit? Both cities are crime-ridden, rat infested, eyesores that have no future. Both cities have god awful sports teams (at least Cleveland) with Detroit being on the upswing. I will go with Cleveland.

Nice try. I did your mom in BOTH cities multiple times, she seemed to like Ctown better because after we were done, and I kicked her ass out the door, it was a shorter walk home.

L.A. and Detroit. Although Youngstown has the highest murder-per-capita rate in the U.S.

Honestly, Detroit is at another level of suckiness. It's like Mogadishu at this point. They have freaking urban farms in the city limits. That takes you to third-world status.

I'm quite sure whatever city Capone lives in is a shithole, if for no other reason than the fact that he lives there.

Detroit. But if they ever get it cleaned up, biloxi, east saint louis, or gary could take its place. Hell. Gary is pretty much already there.

Detroit is pretty fucked up right now.

But you know what major city is really turning into a dump? Chicago. The unemployment rates and the crime rates are skyrocketing.

Cleveland isn't that bad. I love it at least. And how the hell are Detroit sports teams on the upswing while Cleveland teams aren't? You're an idiot.

Camden, New Jersey.

I worked for a trucking company in the 1980's - our terminal for the Philly area was located there. We were about six blocks from the freeway - and had to hire private security to follow our trucks to and from the interchange to keep the locals from breaking into the trailers at the traffic lights.

Of course - we had a brick wall around our terminal in Detroit - with a razor wire perimeter outside of that. We had armed security with dogs patrolling the area in between.

This also explains why I got out of the business about 15 years ago.

The part of Cleveland I don't like is along Euclid Ave. between I-77 and the Clinic. Especially at night. I went to a McDonalds on Euclid and the girl that waited on me had a name tag that read: Ms. Bow tie. She had about 30 bow ties in her hair and just before I ordered, 4 younger guys came in the place on bikes riding around the resturant. They all dressed the same wearing white wife beaters, white hat, blue jeans that were pegged, high white socks, and low cut tan boots along with a white bandana in their left back pocket.

lol, I know what area you're talking about.. But seriously, every major city has those issues.

I'm hopefully going to be working at the clinic soon, which is a GREAT place to work.

Honestly, if the politicians in Cleveland would wake the fuck up, they would understand how much growth potential Cleveland has.

However, the ridiculous high taxes on business owners doesn't help. The focus should mostly be on Health with the 2nd major focus being on technology. cleveland needs to get out of the factory age. At least with the Cleveland Clinic and UH, they're doing a better job at it.

Welcome to McDonalds, what can i get you? She flashed some kind of sign to the boys on bicycles, but my order was ok.

It pains me to say this, but out of all the "major" cities, I think it has to be Detroit. If you include smaller cities, Youngstown can give it a run for its money. I'm sure there is some crap-hole city in New Jersey that can rival these two, but I would never set foot in New Jersey, therefore I could never find out.

Anybody saying Cleveland or Youngstown obviously hasn't traveled much out of Ohio, and even then I'd say a city like Mingo Junction is worse.
