Is India the favorite for the NL ROY? Who else is eligible?

A few weeks ago, I was at a Reds' fan's house and we were talking about it. I looked it up and at that time, he was second to Miami starting pitcher Trevor Rogers (currently 7-6 with a 2.45 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with 129 Ks in 110 innings). But with him really being on a tear since then and the Reds being in playoff contention, I think that order could easily change or have changed.

EDIT: Out of curiosity, I looked up NL Rookie of the Year race on Google and got a recent Yahoo story saying India is currently the overwhelming favorite.

He would have competition if Reds were smart enough to to have used Stephenson a bit more catching, a bit more at 1B when Votto wasn’t mashing and he could’ve been in LF last night or when Winker isn’t mashing lefties….or even RF some.

Really, Reds?

Losing 2 of 3 to the Cubs is no bueno.

Votto hit another HR last night. Ho hum, he now has 27 on the year. We might go downtown for the game tonight since we've got nothing else going on.

Schedule is favorable to say the least.

All season long Reds getting some good production out of guys like Farmer and Naquin…..while having 2 great rookies and 3 of the top 9 OPS guys in baseball. I wish we had some athleticism and defensive range….but this team could cause some problems in the playoffs if they can keep it going.

Reds are pretty damn good.

Winker went down and Naquin is hitting just like Wink was. Had 3 doubles tonight

Well I’m happy that the Reds are giving me some excitement now since the Tribe is just going through the motions now.

Just need to keep it up. Ought to be a fun battle for the final playoff spot between them and the Padres.

Still playing well without Winker in the lineup thanks to a great bench. If he comes back without a decline in production they have 3 legit MVP candidates and a ROY in the lineup.

How long has it been since they had a bench this good?
