Watched Stranger things for like 2 seasons and couldn't get into the 3rd.  Like someone else mentioned about stretching out the plot, early S3 was when I lost patience.

This was me with Severance. I was hyped for it to come back, then it came back, and I was thinking the whole time... "nah, y'all lost me after 3 years. I don't have the patience to re-watch S1, and I forget way too much.". Gave it 4 episodes and then ditched it.

I binged both seasons of Severance a month ago.  I enjoyed it, but I definitely think the pace would have bothered me if I was waiting on 1 episode a week.  Even then, 2 seasons in and few questions have been answered.  I was going to say don't show me a door and then wait 2 years to open it, but that's literally what they do.

The Blacklist was probably the worst at this.  Can't believe I stuck with it, but Spader is just so much fun to watch.

Or LOL how about 1923?  2 years for the prodigal son to get home and then the series is over in 1 episode.

The end of 1923 annoyed me. Was pretty cruel on how the story line ended and then some vague coda that leaves up a potential additional series.

Daredevil ended last night. It was up and down, but I think the last episode was good. It is now more like the Netflix show

I stuck with Severance but it wasn’t easy. There’s a very low threshold for me not watching season 3, especially if it comes out in 2028.

Started watching AP Bio (Netflix).  8 episdoes in it's the funniest sitcom I've seen in years, though I'm not sure how they keep this going for 4 seasons.

If you like Deadpool, you'll like AP Bio.  It's basically a guy who kind of looks like Ryan Reynolds acting like you'd imagine Deadpool as a teacher.  All the nerds in the class are hilarious, too.  Really nailed the casting and writing.

I agree with your assessment.  A few episodes kind of suck, but most have me LOLing a lot.

As a retired public school teacher, I find it hilarious and actually true on things that really happened. Patton Oswalt’s role nails the principal I was under the last few years of my career.  The casting is great overall.

I also will endorse AP Bio. There’s four seasons and seasons 3 and 4 are only eight episodes though.

All the kids are hilarious.

Part way through Ep.6 of Mobland (Paramount+/Showtime).  It's bonkers!

Absolute top-notch cast.

I finished out AP Bio and found the last few episodes awful.

We just watched this too. I wasn’t a huge fan overall, and feel like they could have had some sort of a storyline to end the thing

I thought the first season was hilarious.  It fell off after, and likely struggled with multiple cancellations.   Though I still enjoyed it to the end.  The laughs did get less hilarious and less frequent.  The last few episodes definitely felt like a desperate attempt to give him some growth and something of a conclusion.

I just had nasal surgery so I’ve been in home for 5 days and have ran out of shows. I couldmr lay down so basically just binged and very show ever made lol. If you are wondering about a show I bet I watched it. I didn’t watch landman or the agency. Are they any good?

Landman is funny [in places] and entertaining.  It's basically Yellowstone in the Texas oil patch.  Created by Taylor Sheridan, so you should know what to expect - a very good, but maybe not great, story that's fantastically executed for two seasons before going downhill when Taylor gets distracted by his next project.

Like two posts up.  Mobland is awesome.  Gets better with each episode.  It's a lot like '24' in the pacing, plot armor and action.  But unlike '24' it's not intended to distract you from connecting the dots.  You will miss a lot of stuff if you don't hit pause while you're trying to process what just happened.

Hands down Mobland should be your next watch.  Only 10 episodes in the first season.  There will be at least another season, but it wraps well enough to stand on its own.  I'll be surprised if it takes you more than 2 days to finish.

Just started watching Righteous Gemstones this week. We're almost done with season 1.

We're somewhere in season 3 right now. It's an insane show, but I really like it.

Billy Bob kills me in these types of roles. His delivery and vulgarity is unmatched.

Landman was fine. Almost anything that his wife/daughter did - and there was a lot of it - was uninteresting to me.

Watched “The Waterfront” on Netflix. It was fine, not great, but entertaining enough.

Finished Righteous Gemstones. Not sure if it's coming back for a 5th season, but it definitely ended in a way that the series could be over.

Saw this trailer. Looked decent, but looked up reviews. They stunk, so I pivoted to Dept. Q -- which so far has been entertaining enough.

I couldn't finish S3.

I was so disappointed in it. S1 and S2 were some of the best TV of the last decade. Particularly S2. But S3 I thought was just abysmal and had no cohesion. If S4 gets great reviews again, I'll go back.
