Sorry to hear about your Cat. We had to put ours down just over a year ago. Punkin was 10 also at the time.

Can't believe Neil is gone. I got to meet Geddy and Alex once back in 1988 at a concert in Dayton Ohio. Never got to meet him.

Sorry to hear about your cat. My last one (at least for the immediate future) passed early in '18 and I'm still a bit bummed about that.

And a definite bummer about Peart. Was having dinner with a couple friends tonight and found out. Had to do a shot in his name.

January is "Death Month" as far as cats go for us. Lost 3 at this time last year. Vet told me today that January is their worst month for putting animals down. I'm not looking forward to the day that our dogs goes because he's my girlfriend's tag along buddy and she'll lose her shit.

Saw them in 1976, also in Dayton (with Styx and Blue Oyster Cult). Peart would have been 24 then. Literally a lifetime ago.

Thanks guys...cats are weird. When a dog gets sick it seems like they will start showing some warning signs, over time, but cats will be perfectly healthy and then fall off a cliff. This one was due to cancer but we've had a few kidney/liver casualties that happened in less than 24 hours.

Sorry to hear about your cat BR. Losing a pet is tough.
I am a huge RUSH fan and Peart was one of my favorite drummers.

A real bummer for me. Might have to binge Flying Circus again in the near future.

A lot of rich people die in private plane/helicopter crashes.

Fire broke out and 5 people are dead.  That's a tragedy.  You want to risk your own life flying, then fine.  But you shouldn't convince other people you're a good enough pilot safe to ride with.

Yikes.

Sorry, but it was a reckless and unnecessary risk.  I would never fly with anyone who hadn't been a commercial pilot.  These amateur pilots have the comparative skill level of a drunk driver.
