What is the worst record ever for a starting pitcher in one season?

I would think that 1-14 certainly has a good chance with 3 more weeks of play.

Younger guys who've been struggling as starters: sent to bullpen or given time in the minors.

Homer: EVERY FIVE DAYS FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I regularly see Pirates fans (with justification) bitching about Clint Hurdle's love of poorly-performing veterans. This is even worse than him constantly playing Sean (.160) Rodriguez until the club finally put him out of our misery.

Reds clubbing a ton of grand slams this season. One more to tie the NL record (12), three more to tie the ML record (14).

It was time for him to go and virtually everyone agreed. Once at Toronto they cut him and eventually brought him back. The dude has figured it out and went on to a great great career. He’s gonna end up with some real solid counting stats.

He'll end up with 400 2B, 450 HR, and 1450 RBI. Not bad at all.
