Chicago should fire the coach before they leave Detroit. Horrendous way to end a game.

Uh….I just fired the Bears coach.

Sacked with 32 seconds left and now 3rd and 26 with a potential 59 yard game tying FG

Didn’t use the timeout….snapped ball with 5 seconds left and time expired.

Fired. And Caleb Williams didn’t pick anyone up…he dumbly executed it

In a league full of coaches who turn into total morons late in close games when it comes to clock management, Eberflus might be the worst.

And this comes just a couple weeks after the guy burnt the clock without running another play because he had a fairly long field goal lined up and apparently didn't want to do anything to risk that. And then it was blocked and he looked fucking stupid for not trying to swing a few more yards so the kicker could kick it higher.

Giants score 20 seconds before the 2 min warning and Dallas defenders in the end zone made no effort to keep him out.

Bad look

Every games gotta go to the final play

So DraftKings boosted Ceedee Lamb 40+ receiving yards to +100 (it would have been like -600) I didn’t bet it because those things always make me suspicious. He’s had 40+ in every game this season but one.

He exited the game hurt in the third quarter with …… 39 yards.

I didn’t bet it so it’s not like I’m bitter and I’m not saying anything is rigged. But does Vegas just get lucky with this stuff?

I’ll say that him being greatly dinged up went into it…but it’s fishy

Ceedee came back like 2 plays later. He didn’t exit the game. But also ended with 39 still.

I thought he left, came back, then left again? I saw him standing on the sideline with helmet off a lot. I’m not suggesting he was pulled intentionally. They were also running it to kill the clock. If he played more than i remember, was he targeted again after that DPI that initially hurt him?

Bears fired Eberflus. We had the game on in the background yesterday, and I loosely saw what happened. I went back and watched more closely last night, and his press conference.

Total incompetence. He wanted to run the same play to try and get back into FG range but it obviously didn’t happen fast enough. Okay, why not call a timeout when you see the clock winding down?

The Hail Mary against Washington was bad enough. He basically said hold my beer and watch me do it again.

To successful pull the "There was nothing wrong with my decision; things just didn't work out" card, two things need to be truth.

1. A random person's eye test is not screaming, "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON YOU DUMBASS; WHY IS THE CLOCK RUNNING OUT; YOU CAN STOP IT; WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!???!!!".

2. As a coach, you've had the success to build up enough good will to give people a reason to give you the benefit of the doubt because when they think about it, you're usually rock solid with your late game decisions.

Eberflus went 0-for-2 on that and did so emphatically enough that the Bears actually fired him. I'm actually a bit surprised at that. Sure, the fans hate him and the players seem to be starting the "Wasn't my idea" throwing under the bus, but the way they do things up there, I figured they'd let him hang on as a lame-duck.

I still can’t think of a more outrageous clock mismanagement in football…any level.

There were so many defendable options.

Chiefs make a catch with 14 seconds on clock and officials stop the game to see if catch or no catch but then it’s a 10 second run off? Chiefs were flying to the line and going to have it downed around 6-7 second mark it looked.

What if he makes that catch at 10 seconds? They definitely get it spiked….but clock would’ve been at 0

Rule needs adjusted slightly

This stuff doesn’t make any sense.

Why was QB not watching? Was just going to be a 4-6 yard out to the sideline….maybe an 8 yard pass over middle and a quick spike 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hadn’t had crowd noise issues all game. Should’ve had a FG to win it.

Crazy stuff. Chiefs are playing like the 20th best team the last 3 weeks

The Chiefs have been eeking out wins all fucking season. I’ve never seen anything like it. Who did they sell their souls to to have all this good luck. It’s going to catch up to them in the playoffs right?

That’d be fun. The other scary possibility is they lose in the AFC championship to the Ravens

Lamar or Allen will need to not do what they tend to do in big games. Henry and Flowers make Ravens so much more dynamic than in the past.
