Was just thinking of that. He dropped a shocking amount of weight in a short time, like 80 lbs in 3-4 months. Actually got kind of ripped.
I'm sure it's the camera angle & lighting, but Pouncey doesn't look 180 in that pic. I wouldn't bet that isn't a fake photo.

I'd think so. Keep that 300+ pound body without the same physical regiment you'd have in the NFL and you'd likely be a candidate for a heart explosion any time you did something super-taxing. Like walking short distances or standing up from the sofa.

GM should let him rot, and by rot I mean play out the contract he has in place. Same with Trent Williams in SF. Dude is making 20m/yr and has 3 years left on the deal because he isn't paid like the top guys he's balking.
Other option for the Jets/Niners is to sweeten the current deal (ad on money like the Browns did with Amari Cooper...take Trent Williams to 26-27m/yr) and say "we'll revisit this next year."
I doubt they ever would do it, but entertain just trading Jefferson at this point. This year will already be a bust for them, especially if Addison is going to be out. Then you’re going into next year and you still don’t know what your QB situation is.
Imagine you had season tickets already thinking you’ll be watching McCarthy throw to JJ/Addison and you instead get Darnold throwing to whoever is left and the other team’s defense.
Bills defense picking up where it left off last season with significant injuries. Matt Milano out most of the season with bicep tear.
