The grass field in Baltimore looks really good.

Tomlin will never win another playoff game.  Just coming close would be an accomplishment.

Outscored 73-0 in the first quarter of his last 6 playoff games.

Tomlin sucks.

I said it years ago and someone gave me shit.  That someone owes me an apology.

Lame day.

Chargers lose and cost me my bets. I don’t blame Herbert for that game but the media certainly is bending over backwards to defend him. Just feels like he’s so coddled.

Ravens look like they’re going to win.

Steelers were 10-3 in early December. They wouldn’t win another game the rest of the season. You guys that complain about Tomlin I see your point. He does just enough every season for it to not be considered an overwhelming failure.

I’ve enjoyed the college team losing their last 6 and the NFL team losing their last 5….both same style (incredible kickers tho)

Has Watt done anything in this game?

(I just turned it off so forgive me if he ends up getting a sack)

I don’t see tomorrow being great.

Bills should handle things but if they let Denver stick around…maybe they get tight

Eagles/Packers is supposed to be good but Packers no star receiver

Commanders/Bucs will probably be interesting for the winner who will just lose the next round

Let me preface this with, yeah, I know the Browns suck before Steeler fans give me shit for dogging their team but this could be seen coming like a freight train. Their early seen schedule was set up for them to make hay and the end of the year was going to be a meat grinder. They finished 3 games above .500 but they're really more of a middle of the road, .500 team. They aren't great, just maybe good. And as time goes on, Tomlin is starting to look more & more like Marvin Lewis/Jeff Fisher.

They’ve played poorly and Tomlin no answers….

11 days stretch was brutal but it didn’t lighten up to much

@Ravens

@ Eagles

Vs Chiefs

Vs Bengals

@ Ravens

Should’ve beaten the Bengals and then they could’ve lost to Titans 24-9

They will not be better next year…betting odds in my mind are buying big on Tomlin’s first sub .500 season, if he don’t walk away from the game. I think he looks bad. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just seems like stagnation to me. Playoffs are nice, but at a point, players and fans want more. Maybe a new message needs brought in?

I agree that next year likely won't be a lot better. Still in the same position as the Browns. Need a QB and some playmakers at WR.

At least the Browns won't have to look at Watson ever again. I hope they look into this second achilles tear and see it was "non football related" so they can void his contract, cut him, and recoup a bunch of cap space.

Stagnation of all types is what I think is the problem. Tomlin's been there for a long time and I don't think anyone is responding to anything any more. Things go wrong in the season and nothing happens to correct things. He just spews out the same "process is the process" sort of slogans and guys say stuff about how they want to win and then the play the exact same way with the exact same people doing the exact same things in the next game.

Even at 10-3, it reminded me more of a few years ago when they started out with a great record, lost down the stretch and got drummed out of the playoffs by Cleveland. They were a team that won a lot of close games while relying on great defense and an offense just doing enough to finish with more points on their side of the scoreboard. When that strategy stops working because of, I don't know, fatigue from having to carry the team, guys getting banged up, teams finding holes in their schemes...they have no answers. It's just "do the same thing; maybe it will go back to working" and then it doesn't, so they try it again, fail again, try again, fail again and eventually the season is over.

They're just stagnant right now. Good enough to be good, not good enough to make an actual run. In NFL Purgatory, where they're always in contention to be in the playoffs, but you know what's going to happen the instant they show up for their first round game. That's not good enough.

Tomlin runs simple, conservative schemes and doesn't change anything in the playoffs.  Doesn't give his players the best chance at succeeding.

The numbers in their last 6 playoff losses are simply astounding.  Outscored 73-0 in Q1.  Something like 145-60 in the first half.  Haven't led a single minute of any game.  At least they broke the string of giving up 40+.

Other teams are building something whereas Tomlin is just trying to preserve his streak of non-losing seasons.  And the proof is in the pudding.  In addition to that horrendous playoff string, the Steelers have lost at least 3 straight in 5 of the last 7 years after Thanksgiving.  Late season collapses have become a trend.

That's coaching and scheme.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Tomlin's only real postseason success is due to Cowher's coaches and players.  Mediocre Mike is the most overrated coach in all of sports history.

I’ve seen a lot of support of Tomlin that he’s never had a good QB since Roethlisberger. They obviously missed on Pickett. Idk that you could fault him for not turning Wilson or Fields into better options.

Going to be tough to get your QB when you’re perpetually drafting 18-24 every year.

They had the same issues with Ben.  Tomlin has won 3 playoff games in the last 15 years.  He had Ben for most of that.  Of those 3 wins, two were against mediocre QBs and the other was when CIN completely gave away the game in the last minutes. He's just massively outclassed and outcoached.

The problem is Tomlin.  Not the players and not QB.  It's certainly not the QB's fault the way his defense (highest paid in the league this year) gets routinely and repeatedly tooled in the playoffs.

Did the one year Burguct knock LeVeon Bell from playoffs in final regular season game…when LeVeon was a huge weapon?

And Burfict knocked AB out of one the year the Broncos won with Manning (my tears snd memory could be off)

The last several he’s had no answers for the potent offenses and teams adjust to the defenses.

What I want….be it from Tomlin, new assistants, new coach, new players ….whatever

I want to see our QB typically ave some time, too often they don’t OR a QB that can move. Two straight years Steelers receivers last in separation? Something with scheme or WR coach or something. That’s gotta be fixed. 3rd and 2’s seem so damn hard.

Ball hawk LB

Steelers need an offense and they can’t really run or pass. Gotta do something well. Whatever it takes I’m for.

The flags and the injuries…should be the best game so far but least enjoyable to watch IMO
