On the other side of things, David Duval. After that comical fuck-up of a +8 hole yesterday, he's improved from hilariously bad (+20 yesterday) to merely being shitty (+8 through 16 holes today). That totals +28. Next-to-last place is +14. They need to start revoking exemptions if a dude sucks that badly, making up a provision that says "No one wants to see you looking like a drunk first-timer, dude. NO. ONE." And take him out back and shoot him just to put him out of his misery.
I don’t mind the ridiculous or lifetime exemptions....they weren’t devised for David Duvall to shoot in the 90’s. Bob Tway likes to shoot an 86 every year at the Masters but then again those guys were great in their day and had huge major wins. Yeah we’d all rather watch Tom Watson shoot 76 or Jack Nicklaus to shoot his age....but I don’t care if Duval hangs onto his past.

But I really do believe that if you win a major, you deserve an exemption into said major until you decide you can’t play anymore. Doesn’t matter if it’s Tiger or some one hit wonder. They earned it.
