Ice Road (Liam Neeson movie)

2/10

I usually love his movies, but this was so bad. There were so many continuity errors and things that made no sense at all with how the real world works.

Then some blatant bad acting/foreshadowing like when one girl decides to show the teenage girl one, yes just one, martial arts type block/strike. As soon as it happened you KNEW it was going to be used later in a "tense" spot.

Then they just forgot things they had done in the movie 30 seconds earlier. Like they had to go to the other side of a HIMALAYAN MOUNTAIN through a tunnel. No problem at all. The tunnel gets blown up and therefore the bad guys (in cars and motor cycles) get stuck on the other side.

10 seconds later they show back up chasing them again. Like they just got teleported to the other side by the Starship Enterprise.

One point they used ratchet straps to hold a bus on a crane, no problem there.

Then they forgot about those straps when the crane landed the bus on the other side and the bus just took off driving immediately.

It's like the producers and editors completely forgot what they were doing.

I only gave it a 2 because the storyline/plot wasn't dog shit and I like Neeson movies.

I watched this a couple years ago. You might have been too kind. It was about the epitome of a generic action flick with everyone going through the motions because they knew it was generic as fuck, but they were getting paid.

For me, The Void. 2016 cosmic horror that was good, but I got this vague sense of deja vu because it kind of felt like a "playing the hits...all of the hits" film. But it was a fun romp with good gore/monster practical efforts despite being a low-budget film.

Ok this makes sense. The original was in Canada not Himalayas lol. I thought you were using hyperbole.

Jurassic World Rebirth 6/10.

Not your dad’s Jurassic Park. The T-Rex gets 15 minutes of being useless while the D-Rex looks like something out of an Alien movie. Did not care for it.

How I’d rate them:

Jurassic Park

Jurassic World

-dropoff-

Rebirth

JP2

-dropoff-

Fallen Kingdom

Dominion

-dropoff-

JP3, one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.
