Where have you vacationed or just visited for a day or two that was surprisingly good and you will return?
For me it was a little trip that we visited the tiny little Connecticut towns…. We loved it and was very relaxing. Stayed in a 150 year old Inn that was well kept and overlooked a huge lake. Drive about 8 minutes into your choice of tiny little towns. Just so calm.
Baseball wise I loved St Louis and will hit a Reds series there in the future.
Costa Rica - Arenal Area it was beautiful and the hot springs were amazing. Also found my favorite Seltzers there.
Athens, Greece- Going it to it we read 2 days was more then enough but we loved Athens. There was a ton of good places to eat. Lots of history and some fun bars. We took a food tour there that my wife and I ended up being the only 2 people on the tour and it’s still one of my favorite vacation activities we have done.
Vegas - I try to go once a year preferably during March Madness.

Plenty of others we will go back out of convivence, but not because of an overt love of the place.
