I am pretty sure it was something like the person running it would give a list of ten questions/topics/whatever, and then everyone would send a message with their answers. You were trying to guess the most popular answer, not necessarily give the correct or most relevant answer for yourself. Seems like the points would be awarded by the number of people that guessed that answer. So if for 10 participants, for question 1, 8 people answer the same way, they all get 8 points, the two others would either get one or two points depending on if they guessed the same thing. Highest score wins the round.
