What rationale was used to determine the number of points to be awarded for correct picks against the spread?

Strategy....better get that 6 point game right or get behind early. I just assigned points 3-6 and thought the higher point games were maybe a bit more debatable 🤷🏻‍♂️

So far

3 for Buffalo, 4 for Texans

4 for Tennessee and 3 for Patriots

4 for New Orleans and 3 Minnesota

4 for Philly and 3 for Seattle

This is good.

Patriots the only home team that didn't get the majority!

I see ESPN has Seattle favored by 1.5 points and yet their predictor shows Philly with a 60% chance to win.  How is that so?

Because Vegas set the line and ESPN predictor is independent of that.

So once it went into OT, the spread was meaningless unless there was a safety.
