No player has had a game with reach to these:
6 hits
10 rbi
3 HR
5 xtra base hits
2 SB
Ohtani did them all in one game
Ohtanis game is probably the single greatest baseball game someone has played (hitting).
If he comes back and pitches like a CYA candidate for another 5-7 years, he will be the greatest player I have ever seen -- surpassing Bonds.

You forgetting about Lane Thomas?

Thank god he isn't, in fact, the worst baseball player to ever play as we once thought. I would still much rather Jose Tena and do not understand that trade at all.
At times, MLB is so, so stupid.
You have the Mets and Atlanta playing a kind of big series, with those two teams and Arizona fighting for two wild card spots. You have a hurricane in the area that will threaten that series. What do you do?
If the answer is "Absolutely Nothing" as bad weather causes the postponement of two of those three games, probably forcing those two teams to play a Monday doubleheader and then whomever makes the playoffs just happens to be horribly depleted pitching-wise for Tuesday's wild card.
I mean, I heard that part of the reason for no schedule change for the Wednesday/Thursday games was that Atlanta didn't want to move anything for some combination of not wanting to lose home gates and gamesmanship, but isn't that where a league should step in and say that's fucking stupid because odds are against games being played in Atlanta on schedule, so this is what's happening and deal with with it?
A mess….but I’d like to be the coach of the team getting the screws when it’s over (the one that makes the playoffs that is)
So the Oakland A's are gone now? What will they be called while they play in Sacramento?
Tigers clinch a berth. Don't think many saw that coming prior to the season.
A mess in the NL wildcard
Braves/Mets/Dbacks all tied
Braves/Mets DH tomorrow….if either team sweeps they and Dbacks are in, if they split they are both in.
Braves holding Sale for game 2
We’ll see what the chicken shit MLB will do. I’ll guess some mild paragraph write up and nothing else.

Kind of felt vaguely bad for Arizona because you knew the team who won the first game would give 0 fucks about the second, so with them needing a DH sweep by one of them, they had to know they were dead men walking coming into yesterday. Having the two divisional rivals celebrating together after the second game was done had to be the cherry on top of that shit sundae.
Terry Francona to the Reds Fuck Yes!
Wow, big name.
Eh….worried his health isn’t good enough
I feel this is like their free agent signings of players that were good 5 years ago but we know their name
I’ll give him a fair chance though
He’s not a very good manager anymore. But still probably better than what Reds have seen recently.
I thought this was a joke.
Unbelievable.
Also, why is he managing again? Hes almost died like 7x the last few yrs. Hope he is making a safe choice for his health
