I think the lefties had trouble seeing in first round…..righties were pulling and into shade and lefties pull into sun field and edge of delivery 🤷🏻♂️

I rewatched this. Ravech, who has been terrible and can’t for the life of him remember that everyone gets 30 seconds bonus, called 17 and it was 20 feet short of the wall. 19 was the correct total.

The 17 call was it….I saw the swing and camera showed 30 rows deep and he called #17 but I assumed it was way out and they cut to #18 which wa ms murdered.
I watched it 5x and never caught the error

Yep, right before teh cut to (called 18 and actual 17) you see the kid in the OF jump and the ball enters the screen for a brief moment.
Oh, the AL won the All-Star game again? How original.

Crazy game. Back when I was a little kid, and through my teens and into my early 20's the NL won every game except for 2.
End of cool story.

That’s right, I witnessed it, too.
Clase and Josey with good games. Clase was nasty closing it out.

The two I remember most.
70, When Pete Rose ruined Ray Fosse
71, Reggie Jackson's HR to the roof of Tiger Stadium

Those are two very memorable moments.
At least Bednar got into the game and pitched a shutout inning. Don't know that I cared about anything beyond that.
Basically was a pitchers' duel beyond the shaky innings by McClanathan or whatever the TB dude's name is and Gonsolin. Which probably shouldn't be that huge of a surprise. Way the game is now, I'd put my money on the top pitchers out there when they only need to deal with one inning's worth of batters over the hitters every time.
Castillo was great in his inning though David Ortiz was being irritating through most of it.
Blue Jays have 25 runs through 5 innings….all 9 players 2+ hits and 2+ runs

Baseball is funny and Vegas is dirty…buyer beware
Juan Soto has 91 lol
If I were an Orioles fan, I'd be about to riot. Team plays great for a while, gets into legit playoff contention and still holds a fire sale, ditching Mancini and their All-Star closer for prospects. At least when the Pirates do that, it's after the season and they're like, "Well, that was fun...not gonna pay guys to make it happen again!" and not "Well, that was fun...but who really wants to push for the postseason?"
