Clue: His last name is tough to spell and it’s Italian.
How about Dave Puzzoli?
Dominic DeNucci.

I think that is it. I was drawing a blank on his name.
Spicoli.
It is, indeed Dave Puzzuoli.
And lol at Gardens35 (I was expecting those kinds of answers from you!)
In 1997 Barry Sanders became the 3rd to rush for more than 2000 yards in a season. What former Brown was the Lions starting fullback that year?
I will take a shot with Leroy Hoard.
I'd forgotten all about Hoard. Good guess!, but not him.
"Touchdown" Tommy Vardell? Boy did he SUCK when he played in the 216.
Here are my two questions for the day:
- What pitcher’s 215 MLB wins (70 with the Indians) left him 99 victories short of his Hall of Fame brother’s win total?
- Whom did the Indians receive in the infamous 1960 trade of Rocky Colavito to Detroit?
Sure did, and was a #1 to boot.
Vardell is correct.
Jim Perry
Harvey Kuehn
Boy was my Dad super salty about the Colavito trade. He brought it up on a regular basis when I was growing up.
#2. Kuenn.
Good job, cat_lover!
And Kuenn was only with the Indians for one season.
🤦♂️
cat_lover edged you out by 1 minute, Gardens35.
Gaylord Perry was a Horse! One of my all time favorite Tribe pitchers.
*I just looked it up.......He was 39 years old when he won 21 games for the Padres.
Won 70 games in 3 1/2 seasons in Cleveland, and threw over 1000 innings.
His complete games stats are amazing.
Questions for today:
- What six-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman for the Browns was finally inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007, 34 years after his retirement?
- What St. Vincent-St. Mary grad was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 1988 NBA Draft following a standout career at the University of Pittsburgh?
