Hey, again I'm not going to deny that I think the guy's a creeper but I'll lay my cards on the table and say I think this whole thing's a shakedown by Buzbee and the McNair's.

You're trying to tell me there's 26 (give or take) accusers and there's not ONE shred of evidence? If this were an average everyday "Joe" (that got into massages) this would be an ordinary trip to a masseuse.

Of course he's guilty of being a "rapist" in the court of public opinion but if you take a deep dive into the stuff that went on, the NFL really doesn't have a case here. If anything, he's guilty of a "bad look" to the league because of the negative publicity. That he'll likely be punished for but not because the league has a case or evidence.

If he's actually guilty of "rape" string him up by his junk but I just don't see it.

It might have been you and pretty sure I read it on here but someone mentioned he was probably a regular at the strip clubs….then Covid and he couldn’t get his fix so he went the massage parlor course.

No clue if true but makes more sense than anything else I’ve heard. Texans helped make it all go? Suspend them for 6 games lol. The 400 therapist that likely aren’t the moral leaders of the massage world…..

I just want the games to start

Unfortunately, for you,  he didn't "rape" anyone.

We don't know that.

Well, since none of these women have accused him of raping them I'd say it's a safe bet.

It was me who mentioned that. He was probably a club hopper, pre-Covid and just got creative how he got laid.

Normally I'd likely side with the ladies in this case but there are too many odd things here. He hooked up with them on IG. Some of them had previously done porn, etc. Their "star" witness Ashley Solis, who was on that HBO special, tried to shake him down for 100k right after they met. Then you have the lady who said Watson was a nice, she hears about the gravy train, then changes her tune and tells her son to "keep quiet and you'll get paid." NFL has no evidence, says "no sign of coercion or forcing himself, etc." The whole thing just stinks.

The NFL is in the "damned if I do, damned if I don't" stance after the Ray Rice fiasco. They want to seem sensitive toward women but probably don't want a star player sitting. They also don't want their dirty little secrets exposed in the NFLPA decides to sue them. I doubt Watson would win an appeal but the NFLPA would get want they want, revenge on the owners.

Also there's a lot of talk that the decision should come down today.

These guys with NFL cash can live the high life but they need to be more careful.

Oh, he's definitely an idiot for putting himself in that position.

Reminds me of this Kelvin Sampson quote from yesterday:

"A lot of these kids have been told they are a good shooter their whole life. 'its ok, keep shooting, you'll find it'. No! Stop shooting. 'You're gonna kill his confidence.' Well, I dont think I want a bad shooter shooting anyway. If you hit 4/10 from 3, probably a good shooter, keep firing. If you make 2-3/10, maybe we don't want that kid taking the shots. And for a lot of these kids, this is the first time their whole life they are hearing the hard truth."

So NFL doesn’t want to go below 12 games and Watson and Union don’t want to go beyond 6-8

I don't see Watson's camp settling for 8+ games. That NFLPA statement was put out there under the thoughts the suspension would be light. If it's ridiculous I doubt they keep their word about suing the league. Watson settled with 3 of the 4 remaining accusers overnight. Still have an hour and a half. They still could settle.

What I don't understand is what's the point of an arbitrator if the NFL can still impose whatever penalty they want?

It's stupid. If Robinson recommends 6 games (I'm thinking 8 now) and the Ginger Hammer comes back and gives him an indefinite suspension it's going to make Goodell look like an idiot. A) you're undermining the decision of a former well respected judge and B) that judge is a female, ruling on a case where females are heavily involved.

Ball is in Goodell's court now. 6 I'd consider a "win." Schedule is pretty manageable for Brissett to get them to 3-3, 4-2 at best.
