For no great reason I think the Browns win today
In other news one of of my former students is dating Joe Mixon….he is NOT allowed at her family’s house lol
I don't know who to root for in this game. All the math points to CIN, but I still think they fade and end-up in last place in the AFCN.
Browns are certainly one of those teams that might clean up some of their issues and go on a run. Although I think I saw they have the 3rd hardest remaining schedule, but that includes 3 games against CIN/PIT who maybe aren't nearly as good as their records. Heck, even BAL has a good record but hasn't really looked like a good team.
Great pick by Ward, but 2 70 plus drives in a row from the Bengals is not a good sign. And 3 offside penalties for the Browns already….

That LSU family blood runs deep!

It's baffling how the Browns were so disciplined last year and are one of the league leaders in penalties this. The pre-snap penalties make me want to pull my hair out.
Need a score, preferably a TD, on this opening 2nd half drive.
They ended the half better than I thought. DPJ is legit. Can’t believe the Bengals limped into halftime and played for the fg. Plenty of time left, Browns need to score out of half.

I loved Clowney lining up on the 20…after a touchback. Like, you know the LOS is the 20 at that point.
They go away from the run at the dumbest times
And I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but Myles is held almost every other play. When are they going to start calling it?

K, they remembered
Cut out the cancer, let the healing begin. Nice statement today. Baker looked solid. Chubb remains beastlike. Damn, Troy Hill turning into Myles with a 3 sack day. And had he not gotten injured, DPJ should've been getting the "cancer's" touches.
Oh, and Baker is THE guy.....

Derp. He is free.
I agree they may go off back to where many expected now that OBJ is gone. Games are important all throughout and Cleveland has laid some eggs but I still feel they are the most complete team in the north and arguably the AFC….that being said a win against the Bengals is good, but not greatly telling for the success in the final run this season.
The O-line, d-line and Chubb give them a chance every single game. Still a lot to improve and Stefanski needs to be consistently good for 4 quarters.
Browns are built for the postseason more than the Bengals….but also football is crazy and who the f knows 🤷🏻♂️…..all I know that is Baltimore keeps crapping out wins they shouldn’t against teams that don’t know how to win.
Can't believe BAL keeps winning these games, but sometimes that's the sign of a good team. Although odd fashion to continually get dominated for half the game, and then Lamar Jackson asks Johhny U to hold his beer....

I’m refusing to buy on them….these aren’t good teams they are pulling out these wins on. I nnoo on w what you mean but I just don’t see it happening in the playoffs ….and I hope I’m right

Baker played well, but most people do when you go up big quickly. Chubb and the secondary and Garrett played great today. Baker just had to stay out of the way. He threw the ball 21 times. I wouldn’t call that a statement game from him. Let’s see how he does when it’s competitive and he has to throw it and move the team before we say he’s “the guy” and pay him a ton of money lol
Nice win.
I'm still pissed about letting the Steelers beat us at home last week.
In my "homer" zone, I'm thinking that we should be 8-1 right now.
Go Browns.

There's not a QB in the league that has continually dealt with the bullshit he has. From Hue Jackson/Todd Haley, to Freddie Kitchens, the OBJ BS yet he he keeps bouncing back and fighting and WINNING. Oh, and did I mention he plays hurt and doesn't bitch about it?
BTW...the reason they went up "big" was a lot to do with the dime he tossed to DPJ. Also made legit throws to Schwartz & Njoku (TD) and two beautiful throws to Bryant & DPJ, where he got laid out. Quality over quantity, in this case.
By no means is he flashy or the most athletic QB in the league but if Stefanski allows him to open up this offense he'll do what you're asking. Doe he deserve a $40m/yr contract? Hell no, but I have no doubt he's their long-term QB.
I firmly this would've been going on all season had they cut off the head of the snake (OBJ) earlier in the year and let these younger guys try to flourish.
