Browns have requested to interview Jim Schwartz. McDaniels will be Friday.
Rhule to Carolina. No way McDaniels goes to NY w/ Gettleman right?

That's a bit of a surprise. Figured NYG's were a lock for Rhule. Uneasy feeling about landing McDaniels now....uggh. If Haslam can f#ck this up, he will.
Giants finalizing a deal to make Pats WR coach Joe Judge their HC. Unless McDaniels has cooties, gotta think he's the Browns next HC.
I also believe that this Jim Schwartz interview might not be for HC as much as it's for McDaniels' DC.
Grossi is a bitter bitch but this could be solid..

Browns possibly targeting a triumvirate of HC Josh McDaniels, OC Kevin O’Connell & DC Jim Schwartz.
Sounds like Haslam's rolling out the red carpet for McDaniels and his wife tomorrow...
McDaniels is in town today. Sounds like its him or bust.
McDaniels left without a deal and the Stooges are going to "ponder" it over the weekend. You guys watch, they are going to end up with some shitbag like Daboll or Bienemy. If they can somehow f#ck this up, they will find a way....like the kid in the drivers training car, in an empty parking lot, who hits the lone light pole.
You have to hire McDaniels. Come on. It may not work out (it’s the Browns), but he is the perfect candidate. Learn. Move on and fail. Come back. Move on a second time. That seems to be a pretty successful arc for a lot of coaches who get their first chance at a way to young age. McDaniels seems like he is set up to be that type of guy.
Agreed. If he wants it, he knows it’s his last job, hire him retards
Yep, agree with both of you. If Moneyball's opinion overrules (with Haslam) the smart bet, we're doomed as fans and this team will never field a winner. McDaniel's is the obvious choice but it sounds like the sticking point is that he wants "total roster power" and that point is "non-negotiable." We'll see if either side caves but if the leaks that Daboll is a top candidate are true, they might as well have just stuck with Kentucky Fried Freddie.

You have the best nicknames
This doesn't bode well. Think Haslam pissed down his leg again trying to be too cute this time...
Yeah ... So Kevin O'Connell to the Rams. And O'Connell was going to be on Josh McDaniels' staff. Browns still mulling over their HC call. https://twitter.com/BogeyMan0724/status/1215817421199761408 …

I don't know I'm the biggest fan of "give the coach all the power", but I also read here that (I think) you guys were saying that Haslem's preferred power structure is the coach can pick his GM, but both have to answer to him. And I would prefer the coach having all the power than the owner having it, simply because when I think of NFL owners who want to have the final word on everything, the two franchises that come to mind are Washington (dysfunctional laughing stock from top to bottom because Snyder is a grade A moron) and Dallas (the franchise that has all the advantages due to TV giving them national exposure and verbal blowjobs constantly, but have had a comparable amount of success to fucking Cincinnati over the past decade or two to show for it because Jones might have had his shit together in the 90s, but comes off as a senile drunk nowadays). And Haslem hasn't done much of anything to show he's much (if any) better.

I've never been so low on this franchise, in my 45+ years as a fan, as I am now. I have no confidence that they will get this hire right. Last year I let myself be fooled into thinking that this roster was "idiot proof" and even a rookie HC would thrive. Well they obviously found the one idiot who couldn't make it work. I won't get fooled again. Right now, I'm Missouri..."show me." Until then it will be the same old garbage.
Great (eye roll)....sounding more & more like it will be Stefanski.

About 3/4 years ago when the Steelers wore those ridiculous 1938 throwback uniforms...like 3x I would always say that I swear someone like COA or like_that had to have designed those as to make a mockery out of the Steelers
Well, seems like thavoice is making all the decisions for the Browns now. Sorry

You, me AND thavoice could make better decisions for this clown show. You have no idea how hard it is to continue to root for this team with this hilljack owning the team.

Where you seeing that?
Also, Browns are starting to ask for GM interviews. First one I’ve seen officially is the assistant gm to the Colts, who has ties to Saleh and possibly Mcdaniels.

There were a bunch of tweets about Stefanski but, you're right, the Browns have requested interviews for the GM role that would point to Saleh being the frontrunner.
