He's a giant POS. I wouldn't put anything past his petty fucking ass.

Kind of my thought process.

Goodell can’t suspend someone for voluntarily keeping himself out of training camp because the cameras for hard knocks are causing him anxiety from his recovery of alcohol and drug addiction. He’d get sued so fast.

Its fine

As much as everyone hates Goodell, he is in Gordon’s corner. He has been a big help in his recovery. There’s no doubt he would reinstate him immediately if he hasn’t had any relapses.

Yeah, we were all pissed at goodell for what he was doing to Gordon, but none of us knew what was really going on. Can’t really fault Goodell after knowing what we know now about gordon’s Problems.

Naw, Goodell can go fuck himself.  I will never give that guy the benefit of the doubt at this point.

Lol it’s laughable at how bad this team has drafted... if it weren’t so freaking sad

Look for Taylor to lead them to a 5-5 record and the browns fans wanting more so Baker comes in and leads them like Foles lead the Iggles

if Taylor leads them to a 5-5 start, why in the hell would we Browns fans want a change at that point?

Dorsey was interviewed and was actually talking about an extension for TT? That would be pretty odd, to me, considering where they took Mayfield.

As far as Corey Coleman goes, dude has been in the doghouse ever since he got into some crap with Kenny Britt in Houston (I believe). They've been shopping him for nine months. Shows what the rest of the league thinks of him when all they got in return was a third day draft pick.

Not that he (Coleman) was a world beater but this WR group is a Landry injury away from being one of the bottom position groups in the league. I do expect Callaway to slide into Coleman's spot and it sounds like Gordon will be back.

Lol, a 7th rounder in 2020?  Shows you it is talent and his attitude.

That’s like saying the Steelers are an Antonio brown injury away from being one of the worst WR twams in the league.

Not really. Brown going down would be a huge hit to them but his supporting cast is better than the Browns.

Consider the source of that post and you have your answer.

From what I have read, it looks like Coleman lost his spot to Callaway.  I am not sure if i agree with your "this team is a landry injury away from having the worst WR corp" sentiment though.  Seems like quite the reach.

My initial thoughts were why even trade him if that is what you're going to get for him?  I'd rather take my chances and see if he will actually develop vs taking a useless 7th rounder 2 drafts from now.  Then I started to think about it, and trading someone for a 7th rounder is pretty much an org saying "get this dude the hell out of our fucking locker room."  It had to be more than just his lack of development.

Precisely. It was a "we'll take what we can get or we'll likely just cut him" scenario. Dude has been on the trade block for quite some time.

Don't think my comment about the receiving corps was a reach. Outside of Landry and Duke (if he's considered a WR) there aren't many proven (not counting Gordon because he can't be relied on and hasn't played consistently in a few years) WR's that can be relied on. If Landry goes down, this group becomes very easy to defend.

S&L made a similar point with AB/Steelers already but I'm pretty sure if AJ Green got hurt, the worst receiving group in the league would be the Bengals. Can you name a receiver on the team outside of him? And if for some reason you were going to say Lafell, he was released last week.

My point was you can’t say “well if this player weren’t here, we’d be bad at his position.”

The player is here and he’s healthy.

And besides, I could make an argument that the browns have a better WR group outside of AB and Landry. But that wasn’t even my point.

For arguments sake..

AB slightly better than Gordon

ju ju is not better than Landry

Heyward-bay, Calloway hasn’t even played a game yet and he’s already better then heyward-bays bum ass

Washington and Higgins are about equal

Vance McDonald- njoku is way better

bell and duke are about equal in the passing game.

So in all, no the Steelers don’t have a better receiving core than the Browns. So if AB would go down it makes that core very piss poor outside of ju ju
