All discussion of Ben is welcome on this thread. Please refrain from conversations about he or other non-NBA guys on the NBA thread. Thanks

I love when Ben does very good things and helps to lead the Steelers to victory.

I hate that he has dramatically worked the cameras and announcers during some of his injuries. Cry wolf, no fan.

I love the results he has had while leading the Steelers over the years.

I hate that my team is led by a player of low character.

I hate that he cares the Steelers drafted a QB in the 3rd round.

I hate when he does anything negative in any way because it gets overplayed on here.

I hate that he even alluded to retirement and then said he’d play 3-5 years after Rudolph was drafted. I hated the talk about Terrell Owens, Brett Farve, Tony Romo, Peyton Manning. I cannot honestly think of an athlete that I’ve enjoyed the media discussing his retirement or if they are or aren’t.

I hate that I bought my toddler son a Roethlisberger jersey and then find out via JJ Huddle of his rapings.

I think it’s funny that “Rapistberger” has been used/typed so much on here that anytime I see “ rapist” on social media my mind says Rapistberger and often smile about you motivated, energetic dumb asses. Lol

Dude's career may be over. He's looking at 9 years if convicted.

Foster fell a ton in the draft due to character concerns, right?

Yeah, he dropped to 31st after a failed drug test.

Considering people probably do more time for weed possession, 9 years would be getting off easy for what he did.

What % of NFL guys smoke weed?

30%? 50%? 70%

Less than 30%.....greater than 70%

Is that % lesser or greater than our posting members on this site?

I'd say >50% for NFL. Also stupid they don't do away with the suspensions for it. I'm sure that's coming shortly though. No clue on the % of the members on this site.

I've always thought that Roethlisberger was a dickhead, even going back to his Miami days.

I also was not comparing him to Lebron, just pointing out that a lot of high profile athletes are assholes and treat people like shit. It's nothing new.

Hard to say who my favorite asshole athlete is....Mario Balotelli is up there though!

Not that he falls under the Roethlisberger category but I see where the media is dragging a 22 year old sexual assault case (that was dismissed by the plaintiff) against new Lion's HC Matt Patricia out from under the rug. Apparently happened at spring break when he was 21 and the girl ended up backing off the charges.

Never good and sadly I about guarantee this goes on more often than we think. The college jughead is dangerous to young girls. Having a daughter that age sucks.

I SMH when I saw that article. We live in such a terrible libtard culture created by the SJW's, and the fucking media eats it all up. 22 fucking years ago and the woman dropped the case (or didn't show up to testify, whatever).

And that is what the media will focus in on. They will likely keep pushing the point and pushing the point until something that was dead & buried (by the accuser) will now be an issue.

He is being a bitch with his whole Rudolph thing but he does have a little bit of truth to it as players want to win now, ownership needs to balance now and the future.

If this fuels him a little extra, makes him work harder and spend more time training, studying and less time raping and leads to him playing great and more wins.....I am okay with the douchebagery
