Scottie Scheffler has to get a mention. No one is surprised he won golf but to clutch a 29 on the back 9 to win it…,that’s legendary.

The pole vault finish was dope.

I have to avoid social media all day until I get a chance to catch up on it late at night.

The women’s 3x3 bball ended up getting bronze after the rocky start. Haley Van Lith said afterwards Kobe would have been proud of their result. I disagree.

Big day of basketball on Tuesday.

So far in wrestling...

GR has been a crap show, which is typical for the US, we are 0fer the Olympics in 3 wrestlers.

Women's FS we have one going for gold this afternoon, 1 in the SemiFinals and will at least wrestle for bronze, so 2 for 2 in women's wrestling.

Men's freestyle hasn't started yet.

Track and field has been great as expected. The pole vault record was insane, so much fun. The end of the women's 5k was nuts. Glad the Kenyan got her silver back after appeal.

Big picture, I have a feeling like in Tokyo, it will come down to the last day to determine who has more golds, the US or China.

His reaction to the national anthem was great.

Jovic's reaction to winning the golden slam was awesome too.

Shows golf and tennis do matter as Olympic sports.

Woman soccer semi vs Germany. That save Naeher made off her foot off Germany’s final goal kick was amazing.

Thought Hocker accidentally boxed himself in coming into the last 100m but he recovered nicely to win

That's what I thought. Looked like he lost his stride when Norway was there to cut him off, but Norway crept inside just a bit and he just blasted through the hole he was given. For a bit, I though it might have ended up 1-2, as British guy seemed to either be tiring or eased up across the line, while USA #2 was coming on strong, but British was able to hold on.

Thomas did what was expected, but that was impressive. The 1500M was one of the most electric finished to a race not named 100m I have seen in awhile. USA/Germany in extra time was drama, and Naher with an unreal save that wont get talked about as much as it should.

She born and raised in Ironton Ohio and was state junior high champ for Ironton in 8th grade and dad thought it best to go north. She was at Hamilton Township for 9th and 10th grade and went to Pickerington her junior and senior year. Abby Steiner from Dublin always kept her from a state title.

Even her intro to the 200m on the tv screen said Ironton Ohio
