Considering the opposition are two New York teams and the Dodgers, this might be the most popular a Cleveland team has ever been outside of Cleveland fans. I know coming into yesterday, my mindset was that I'll be cheering for whoever wins between them and Detroit to go all the way.
Need some length from the starters this series. They need to be better, but Vogt also cannot pull them like he did against Tigers. Completely unsustainable
Gavin Williams, or maybe that would be a jinx since they gave him ZERO run support during the season.

Fuck him. Let’s go Tribe!
Thanks for the locker room bulletin board material, Alex.
What the hell ...........Tribe in 5
Just go win a game you aren't expected to. Then win another. Then 2 more.
This is the most wide-open the MLB has been in I feel like forever. People forget because we blew the 3-1 lead vs Cubs that they were by far the best team that season.
Cool…cool…
Tune in tomorrow, same place same time.
I suggest the pitchers throw strikes and the hitters don't strikeout 14 times.
7 walks (thank you Cobb and Cantillo mostly) and the absurd wild, not even close swings we took = losing this series very quickly.
Hopefully can find something tonight against Cole but it is a tall task.
Naylor is unwatchable right now. Hes had a horrible approach for years, but he run into enough HRs that it was tolerable. But now with every AB heightened, it’s frustrating beyond belief. And he’s like 50lbs from being out of shape.
Stanton is swinging good and several near misses ….if he’s good, Zimmerman not sure there is much chance.
Well this is fun.
Should be up. That error by Rocchio was killer. Fry with a horrible PH, appearance. But overall, much better ABs. Seem to be settling into the series. Gotta find a way to steal this one.
There is still hope.
This team is close, but they need to really address starting pitching. They do not currently have a true #1, with Williams being the closest makeup — and Vogt doesn’t even trust him to throw a single pitch in the postseason (though likely game 4 starter).
The biggest thing is they have too many holes. Not simply bad hitters, but legit holes. Guys who don’t put up any kind of AB. Naylor/Hedges, Brennan, Noel without consistent PT, etc. Turn around and watch the Yankees who everyone in the lineup is an actual threat to at least work a count and make a productive out.
Win game 3 and the pressure gets shifted back to the Yankees a bit. Obviously, tomorrow is a must win - buuuuuut, there's still a chance.
