Wow....Steelers interviewing Hue Jackson for their vacant OC role.

Also having Dwayne Haskins in for a visit.

Heh, Haskins being in the mix potentially was something I was thinking about the minute he was released. Talented guy, but immature and was initially saddled with the clownshow WFT and their horribly-run organization.

Talent-wise, a definite upgrade over Rudolph as the back-up/heir apparent/next year's starter if Ben decides to follow Rivers and probably Brees into the sunset. Maturity would be the issue -- if he learned from going from 1st round pick to being cut over 1.5 years or not.

Meh

The guy from CBS Radio (Pittsburgh) is often on the local Cleveland CBS affiliate (92.3) and said he would feel confident with Haskins/Rudolph/Dobbs starting the season as Pittsburgh's QB's. As a Browns fan, so would we. lol

So would this mean Roethlisberger is officially done, in Pittsburgh anyways?

I'd think this would give them a little bit of leverage to coax him to restructure that $41m cap hit, at the least.

Ben is due a big roster bonus in March. He will probably have to renegotiate or risk being released before that is due.

Lions actively looking to trade Matt Stafford. Saints? Colts? WFT?

And in the LOL Department, the Dolphins have hired Charlie Frye to be their quarterbacks coach.

Probably wouldn’t be a big difference

NFL is going to have to figure out what to do about this.  The elite guys are wanting $50M, even $100M guaranteed for some QB's and you just can't do that if a guy is going to demand a trade a year after signing.

And obviously Antonio Brown did that to 2-3 teams.

You tell him to fuck off.  He signed an extension, so figure out how to make it work with him.  Not to mention there is also a franchise tag option once the contract expires. A lot can change in three years.  He could easily change his mind.   There is 0 reason for the Texans to trade a  26 year old franchise QB.

Stafford to the Rams for Goff, 2 first rounders, and a third rounder.

Big price to pay for a guy whose career history is "good/great fantasy numbers; no big wins".

Honestly I think they paid more to get out of the money owed to Goff then Stafford

I agree. But eager to see him with a real franchise. Lions may be the only franchise run worse than Browns since 1999.
