2021 NCAA Player Pick-‘Em

Me and Gerb are good with Fiddy. 

Birddog will be $60, since he owes me still. But alright, $50 is set.

Do we want to stay with the rules and payouts we’ve done in past? I can try and find them tonight, don’t remember exactly what it was.

Ok, draft order is:

We haven't really had any issues with this group the last few times we've played in regards to drafting on time. I think we still need a clock, but since everyone has a way of getting in touch with someone else I think we can be pretty lax if they are in a meeting and might be an hour late, or so. 

10 rounds gets us to 111 players drafted. Seems to be the best and most logical number to shoot for. 12 rounds is doable, but frankly none of us watched enough to even know who those dudes are. And 8 rounds isn't quite enough. 

What will the payouts be then?

I gotta find what we did. But we can also just vote on them.

Yeah let’s cap it at 12 rounds. I suggest we shoot for a three hour window. With a 1 hour grace period the first time your over an hour.

We had 12 two years ago. I just opened up my excel. It’s a good number, but if we fall short, 10 works well also.

Have $550 to work with. Assuming we go 3rd is $50 for money back that is $500 for the following:

• Winner
• 2nd
• Top Scorer
• Top Average
• Top Game

I’m also not opposed to dropping top average, and dolling out $75 to scorer and game so it’s more worthwhile than just money back like in past.

Something like:

• 1st Place $250
• 2nd Place $100
• 3rd Place $50
• Top Scorer (Total) $75
• Top Scorer (Game) $75

Yeah, 3 games. Which is kinda why I think it should go. Have to advance 3 rounds, but then if they go further average typically drops. I dunno, it was good in theory, but not the best.

Also I know one year I drafted the dude and then they announced he was out of the tournament. You guys let me pick last in the round we were In The middle of when it was announced. I think that’s a fair way to do it.
