2018 College Football Thread

UK scores on an untimed play after time expired to beat Missouri and stay in the hunt for the SEC title.  The end of the road probably comes next week in Lexington vs. GA.

The UC kicker has to make a 43 yd FG three times before it counted to send them to OT vs. SMU.  Then they win the game in OT without the offense having to take the field on a pick 6.

Texas defense looked abysmal.  QB sliced them apart.  Much needed stop on 3rd down or OSU seals the deal.  Why Texas didn't spy the QB is beyond me.  Texas tackling was terrible as well.  

While the Big 12 beats itself up, it just opens the door for OSU/B1G winner for playoff.  If two SEC teams make it again over B1G and Big 12, I may be done.

If either OSU or Michigan finishes 12-1 and doesn't make the playoffs, I can see the B1G forcing a change to the system.  

OSU back in the AP top 10 at 8. I’d expect a similar ranking come Tuesday night.

ESPN runs this 4 team invitational. They are in bed with the SEC.  Until one of these things change, this is how it will be.  

D.J. Durkin fired a day after being reinstated because, in a real shocker, neither the university's student nor a sizable number of players wanted to maintain his style of "if he dies, he dies" coaching.

And now because they publicly stood by him and then fired him the next day he will likely sue for wrongful termination and win.

I honestly think they would drop to 2, and LSU would go to 1. The CFP rankings LOVE themselves some Bama/SEC.

I agree. Maybe they just flip them though. But I don’t see them outside of the top 4. 

Louisville still being a joke this year, giving up 77 to Clemson.

Penn State could play the biggest spoilers today. And frankly, it would make the OSU win a little stronger. 

Instead of taking the ball at the 35 on a kickoff out of bounds, James Franklin has them re-kick and gives up 13 yards of field position. What a moron. Also, they have no chance in this game. 

OSU is gonna get skull fucked by Michigan.

I fucking loathe CBS.  You cannot watch Live CBS shit with a cable login (on smart TVs).  Every other sports network allows for smart TV streaming, but not fuck head CBS.
