Making homemade bolognese sauce and lasagna roll ups today.
Had sous vide pulled pork last night.
Getting Indian takeout tonight.
Birthday Dinner
Vegetable loaf, fried potatoes and fresh green beans
Vegetable loaf is a really good meat loaf...no idea why it’s way better but it is.

The meals themselves were fine, but everything felt incredibly wasteful. Lots of plastic. They spin this as a good thing because basically everything is recyclable... but I don't have recycling where I live, so it all went into the trash.
Yes, I agree. I have a problem with this.
My biggest issue with Hello Fresh was that the meals were relatively complicated. It would take like 30+ minutes to prep and cook the meal it seemed like. We've got recycling here so that's not a big concern. I want quick and easy.
Grilling some brined chicken
breast, rice with pico and lime.
The biggest recycling problem I have with these services is styrofoam. There is no place around where I live that takes it. It’s such a waste.

This is my problem too. It takes too long and dirties more dishes then what I would normally do. I usually only get them when there is a free promotion for someone so I can’t complain, but I don’t think I’d ever pay full price.
hello fresh meal. we’ve been doing them for about a year. 4 meals a month loved everyone
Meatballs and roasted cauliflower.
Had Rowdy’s takeout....wings and burger
Pork chops on the grill...potatoes, green beans

Already gone lol...son had XC practice at 6:00 so we ate early.
A pasta boiling trick I just learned a couple weeks ago. Once water is to a boil at 212 degrees just insert pasta and turn off gas/electric burner and it holds over 200 degrees for next 10 min and pasta is a perfect texture when done. Saves 8-10 min of gas or electric too. No clue why I never knew this 🤷🏻♂️
