Unbelievable how that still happens.  With all the money into special effects, why do you even need to use real guns with blanks (which, obviously, someone screwed up and it was a live round)?

How do you shoot more than one person? And not an actor but peripheral people? I almost feel bad for him until remembering he hopes for people’s deaths on Twitter.

I assume shrapnel, or most likely through-and-through striking the second person.  That does happen - Chicago officer the other day accidentally discharged his weapon and hit two other cops.

Baldwin was apparently very shaken up about it.  But being a narcisstic pyschopath himself, I'm sure he will quickly get over it.

Not necessarily, the prop people could have not cleaned the gun properly and it could have been shards of the old blank.

No spoilers…but I was underwhelmed.

I didn’t realize it was going to be at least a 2 part movie…it was 3 hours just to get to the part that was like halfway through the 1984 movie.

If you like long drawn out “epic” movies that tell a story very slowly, like Lord of the Rings, you will like it.

If you expect an action SciFi you will be bored to tears.

In other news, I liked it, wife fell asleep at the theatre.

Eye witness says it was a real bullet

No idea how the prop people screwed that part up.

I had heard both stories, as well.

I wonder what kind of liability Baldwin has for not clearing it himself?  Yes, this should never happen, but how do you not check a prop gun someone hands to you?

At the end of the day, he only has himself to blame for not exercising proper gun safety.

I heard the crew (Union) walked out over labor disputes. The replacements came in and obviously fucked up royally. Not sure how much of that is true.

Somewhat related....just saw Michael Keaton on 60 Minutes - he turned 70 in the beginning of September but looks about 50.

Run

Fairly entertaining.

I would give it a 7/10.

Free Guy

It was ok. I was entertained, but it seemed like too much of a Ready Player One clone. 6.5/10

Can't really remember so don't quote me, but I thought it was even quite a bit better than P1.

Anyway, I'd give it about 8.5.

Just rented it last night and watched with my daughter.  We both liked it better than the first.

Richard Jewell

9/10  Fantastic Clint Eastwood film about the guy falsely accused of the Atlanta Olympic bombing.  What a great movie.  If you hate the media (probably everyone on here) and you hate the FBI (Quaker), you will appreciate the horrible injustice done to basically just a gentle soul.

I agree that Quiet Place II was better than the first.

We watched Phantasm last night. Weird movie, but I kinda liked it. Probably a 6.5/10.

We watched Trick 'r Treat tonight. Relatively new movie and pretty entertaining. 8/10.

I don't want to start an argument, but please just watch 12 Monkeys.

Quiet Place 1 & 2 get a thumbs-up-must-watch from me

How does this have anything to do with Quiet Place 1 & 2?
